Initially they ignored the IMEI number I gave them and sent me a code for a different phone. I bought two phones on contract at the same time and they insist the SIMS are in the wrong phones even though everything came in same box! Tried the wrong code they sent me twice so presume I should have had 3 goes left.

you only get 3 tries at code unlock on these, how many attempts have you had?

Thanks to 3 messing me around and ignoring the IMEI code I gave them off the phone I used up the 3 goes with the wrong unlock code they gave me. I suppose I could try complaining to 3 but I doubt i will get any where. presumably the info they gave me about the phone being permanently locked to 3 was just to get me to go away.
