What leftovers sammy? Are you just using the carcus for the soup or whole chicken? and lamb eat the leg as roast first then use the leftovers for shepherds pie...ala Alegra

Yes I really need to get my arris in gear with food organisation, I don't even cook when DH is here:D
bought braising steak too and lamb mince, beef mince etc, but it won't fit in my freezer so I need to make sure i do not waste anything.

DH bit like me he will almost put off phoning me as it will seem real he is away then. They have sat phones 20 free minutes a week but can buy extra phonecards. He took him laptop hoping they had wifi or something, sounds daft but this is a pretty hi tec place thats been there for years, so you never know, I mean the americans have set up a subway and and a maccy d's, i kid you not

BB, you're a lot more organised than I am, the last few times I've been on holiday I've just stood panicking an hour before setting off then thrown everything I think I need in the case/bag... usually forgetting something.

They are indeed the asda ones Ames, probably picked up to BBQ over the summer.
Hey Sal we could always meet up at KM one sunday afternoon, I don't mind cold as long as its dry, Dan will love it up there and Zoe might even come as shes doing her animal care there too.

Yeah I sit still Sammy...mostly in the evenings when I collapse on the sofa and don't more until bedtime!

Im going to have a look on ebay for some thick curtains for the sitting room...the ones we have are like a sheet thickness and practically useless!

Sally, I think it was BB said that the asda/ikea cheap throws are great for lining curtains, might be cheaper than buying new thick ones?

That would be cool Jacs, I have season pass so mucho cheapo...free in fact Its the napoleonic weekend this weekend..not really my thing so staying clear but if its nice next sunday maybe then?
