RM Managing director's office number?

That's bit of a daft complaint really.. postmen can't help the weather! I'm just glad my postman delivers whatever the weather. There is no way I could be out in the snow, rain, heavy winds, or even the mad summer heat.
My postman often tells me of his targets in having to deliver extra leaflets, junk mail etc, things that delay our actual mail - my recycling bag is full of them, he gives me handfuls of the things.
I disagree - I do not think it is a 'daft' complaint, when the envelope containing a PIN number is completely saturated.
I accept the odd drip on the post on a wet day and it feel slightly damp.
Yes it does rain in this country and the Post Office should ensure they have the equipment for the postie to deliver the post to a reasonable standard in bad weather.
These targets are caused by the antiquated Royal Mail.
Their morale is so low, so the postie is under pressure and I too feel sorry for them out in all weathers. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T

I just want to add that our postie is excellent. We are out in the sticks and the last house on the round. Sometimes mail doesn't arrive until nearly 4pm (way past their finish time). On the plus side, I know that if I need a letter posting my postie Phil will take it for me, he will leave parcels in a safe place and sign for me if I am not in. He also knows my dog will eat the post if I am out, so he will leave it in the garage. He doesn't have to do this.
On days when we 'catch up' we both have a moan about the state of Royal Mail. Some of the stories he tells me would make your hair curl! The things custardy writes of are not unique, they are happening in nigh on every RM DO. Unfortunately most public sector 'businesses' are the same; an hierarchy of managers and team leaders and not enough 'workers'; too many people striving to meet targets set by office bods too far from reality; the list is endless.
Something has to give. Who knows what that will be, probably the service we receive as customers.
For me at least, that service is priceless.0
