Very productive dfw kitchen based moneysaving day for you dawn :T:T:T lol at the pineapple:rotfl: Had a quick look on my table but no pineapples :(

hope the baking goes well Lurlene :) looks like we will all be baked out and flopped for x factor tonight. It is one of the few things I watch on tv, (Louis - please don't pick the twins, they remind me of tin tin but more annoying!)

Have done my very first crumble and thought it was really nice but resident food critic said it was 'gusting and didn't finish hers. Oh well - more for me :rotfl:

I seem to remember you have a soft spot for crumbles so don't think you will have any problem disposing of the rest ;)

i made crumble as well, when i mentioned to OH i was making a cake he said 'oh one of your apple ones?' with hope in his eyes. I was of course doing mincemeat cake with my free mincemeat, so i've come to a compromise (not that he know's yet) and done apple crumble. Have added some coconut to the mix which is new and some chopped figs which were in the fridge. fingers crossed it's yummy.

also made about 4-5 portions of bolognase with the normal meet for 2 portions and some hidded soya mince, and lots of veggies. As long as i don't tell OH he'll never know about the soya mince.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Prepare sandwiches for tomorrow as my 1st attempt for a NSD during work week. Just done them at 18:30. Put them in the fridge in a box. Not sure if they are going to be all dry tomorrow (little brown rolls with ham and cheese - nothing too taxing as a 1st try :)
    MFW on your mark
  • Well done Fay and sophiesmum on ur mega batch caking and beautiful cakes! Waves to everyone else!

Just popped in for a read! Worked all day but not very well. Wouldn't have gone but had to train agency staff and absolutely exhausted now! Supposed to be having surgery in just over a week but have a sinus infection. If I feel like it again tomorrow will have to give work a miss. No list for today just relaxin, popping pills and trying to recover!
    Thank you to all posters:beer:
