    Hello all!
    Some impressive lists on here!

My to do list is long, long, long, but as far as money saving goes, today I have/will:

    1. Made cake and birthday card!

    2. Sorted a birthday present from my secret present stash.

    3. Going to give the birthday meal a miss - I went out for a meal with same group of friends last week and had a started and a glass of water. Then one of the people who'd had more than six pints of beer, a starter, a main course and a dessert decided to split the bill equally - GRRRR!

    4. Starting the homebrew this weekend

    5. Going to a bootsale tomorrow!

    6. Trying to find someone to share a lift with on liftshare website to help split the diesel on my commute.

    Have a great weekend everyone!
    Overpay!

Hi everyone - sorry I haven't been on for a few days. Lots of things all came at once, and I didn't really get a chance to post properly. But I have been good, honest! Best of all T's school has been shut on the advice of Environmental Health due to the Norovirus. Luckily he is fine, so far.

Today is RachelMK's wedding day I believe! Hope she is having a glorious time.:happylove:happylove

Today however is not my wedding day and I have instead been doing fun things like unblocking our very blocked loo. _pale_I blame cheap loo paper from Lidl.

    1) Scored soda crystals and a wire coathanger of my Mum for aforementioned loo unblocking. It was not fun.
    2) NSD Yay!
    3) Took a huge bag of OH's clothes to a charity shop.
    4) Have rootled through my toolbox and fixed things including coat hooks, drawers and also hung pictures.
    5) Storecupboard meals.
    6) Sorted some things to put on Netmums.
    7) Checked bank, quidco, SCs etc
    8) Hokey cokey.
Not much fun, but keeps me out of trouble!

    Have a funky Saturday night, L x

Another reason I haven't been on is that OH has been on the computer finishing his video for his latest tune. Remember a few weeks ago I said he was making one in the back garden? Well he finished editing it yesterday and I thought you might like a look at it:-

And no, that's not me singing!

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

    Hiya Marru :)

Definately do it, I started one today and although I haven't updated yet with anything inspirational that I've done (not that I've done anything ), I do feel marginally more motivated to start sorting meself out :)

    Evening all

Shouldn't be posting on here really, OH decided he was going out (again ) last minute, DD1 was at work so meant I would have to get the other 2 kids in the car and go to Mr T's which isn't a good experience. So thought s0d it, went online and ordered Pizza Hut instead :o hardly DFW......BUT, they did text me a 50% off code yesterday (SMS5563UF incase anyone's interested valid till 7th Oct :D) and I'm sat here waiting for it now

  • Evening everyone!! Finished a day at work! Think I will just do a list for the weekend but fairly basic one I'm afraid!
    • Daily scratchcards
    • Daily lotteries
    • Daily competitions
    • Work an hours overtime tomorrow
    • Comps ending soon
    • Work
    • NSD tomorrow (Brought flapjacks today so not quite a NSD!)
    • Food from stores
Like I said simple list. Am also considering applying for another job. It is with the same organisation I work for now. I presently work 25 hours a week and it is generally split over 5 hours a day or 4 days if I am working a weekend. However the way the rota has been done I keep end up doing long stretches, like now I am at the start of 7 days in a row! The other job is 24 hours working three days a week (8 hours) but would end up working more weekends. Was worried about the drop of one hour as would be less money but turns out that position actually is 33p extra an hour and would get £50 more a month for working one hour less! Anyway, just pondering it at the moment. What do people think? Will speak to who would become my line manager next week to ask a bit more next week.

    Hugs to all x x x x
    Thank you to all posters:beer:
