Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

Another reason I haven't been on is that OH has been on the computer finishing his video for his latest tune. Remember a few weeks ago I said he was making one in the back garden? Well he finished editing it yesterday and I thought you might like a look at it:-

Good morning lovelies:D the sun is shining here although there is stil a bit of a nip in the air.Haven't decided what I'm up to today yet, probably more decluttering. DD's friend has just moved into her first house so an ideal opportunity to offload los of unused [STRIKE]junk [/STRIKE]household items which she may use. She is really skint so happy for anything at the moment, and I don't feel so bad letting things go when I know they will be appreciated.
Just about to have some of my HM yoghurt for brekkie, havent made any for ages so just getting back into the routine but it is yummy, will be adding some tinned fruit from stores as have some where use by dates are looming.
Fay - happy bargain hunting for the stripey sock shop - I shop that way all the time now and find it saves me a fortune - have only spent £830 so far this year on food shopping for the 3 of us. God luck clearing the ice caves :D

    Todays list so far:
    • check online accounts
    • set up internet banking on my HSBC savings account so I can see how much is in there - hadn't done this so I wouldn't be able to access the savings and spend it;)
    • rubber chicken from yesterday basis for most of today's meals, sarnies and risotto, plus stock for freezer.
    • set off another batch of yoghurt so I can make some soft cheese with it
    • more decluttering
    • drop off some stuff at the recycling centre later
    • hokey cokey and ironing
    • packed lunch for DD who is off competing in a horse show
    • make some cakes for DD for when she returns later ravenous and unable to wait for tea
    • sparkle:D
Have a great day everyone, hi to all the regulars, ((hugs)) to any poorly people xx and welcome aboard to any new posters.
    catch you all later :D

  • Hey SM - thats a huge saving on food shopping isnt it - before this site I was spending upwards of 400 a month

Well done on the decluttering - I need to do more - deep breaths one cupboard at a time :) its amazing how much stuff you 'find'!!

Darwin blanket wrapped overself at the moment - its in the house at the mo - (the blanket seems to come in and out of the camper as its a favourite in the house now so lives on the sofa in the living room when not out adventuring :))

OK yoghurt to soft cheese - pray tell how do you do such magic?

We're making pesto later but soft cheese - WOW! Spill the beans (please!)
