We tend to stay away from the indoor snow slopes, taxi - far too expensive unfortunately. The children have done them a couple of times, but they had to have a line put through on the race schedule, due to the cost - it is very reasonable to ski on a dry slope, especially when you can get your ski time for free in return for volunteering to help! But have you seen the cost of skiing at the snow places - almost as expensive as going abroad for the real thing :eek:

But, anything that brings the enjoyment of skiing to more people is ok in my book - and I look forward to seeing the photos of taxi on skis

I love that one. I am a sentimental old sop when it comes to poetry. A couple of years ago i was in the garden at Anne Hathaway's cottage and they have a willow harbour with a button speaker thing where you can listen to various Shakespearian sonnets being read out loud by actors..i was sobbing away just moved by the beauty of it all:o

I am with you on the stats..( wish they had a spitting smilie:rolleyes:)I prefer maths with pure.

Never mind..just thought some of their races may end up there as they are having 5 levels of slopes and mountains and trees and moving clouds...lol
If it's that expensive I won't be going ..lol...if I do go I'll be the one on my bum!!!

There probably would be plenty of races there, but this year we chose not to do the snow races due to the cost. Can't do it all! (sadly!)

Got another ski day tomorrow.....early start, mucho coffee.....*sigh*. I have had a headache ALL DAY, so I hope that it reduces overnight, otherwise I will be a stroppy mare by the time I return home tomorrow night.

Good luck for the skiing tomorrow and well done on keeping up with Flylady - I've not managed a star for about 6 months. I did make a start on the ironing pile until I spotted a huge spider so have left that as a health risk!
