Well, I've missed some partying... one way of getting out of doing any cleaning though
Taxi, I saw the news about the travel companies going bust, but didn't think of Hypno. I have thought of Hypno when reading all weather and travel reports, they have me crossing fingers that she gets home OK.
Hypno said she'd next be online tomorrow. I'm guessing she's travelling late tonight. No idea how she's travelling, but hope it's not Eurostar or via Calais.
Hypno could have stayed in the UK and played in the snow here... though granted there are no hills in Norfolk! I had a great morning out in a foot of drifted snow it was great, until we got back onto pavements with compacted ice and now my friend's broken her wrist in two places after a slip.
I hope everyone here is safe and well and in one piece.0 -

Anyone for a grape - no crumbs! The grapes I'm talking about come in a bottle...hic!
Hiphouse - hope your friend is ok. Ouch! I fully sympathise after breaking mine last year. Mine wasn't snow though...trolley rage in Ikea doesn't sound nearly as good! I wasn't the one wielding the trolley either xx0 -
Note to self -never go shopping with Mudbath
The ski coaches are usually overnight and yup most are via Calais ooopsI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

:rotfl:I was minding my own business, queuing up to pay when it happened. Silly man in a rush couldn't wait for me to move out of the way so just went 'through me'. Still, I'm fine now and only twitch and yell slightly when I see a shopping trolley:rotfl:xx0

Strewth Mudbath, that sounds like a crazy shopping trip  I've never been to Ikea and I'm not inspired to go now
Thanks for the good wishes for my friend. She's home from hospital with a temporary cast. She's on pain-killers for her other wrist so not in too much pain, but with two wrists out of action she's really compromised. Thankfully she's much loved so loads of people to help her out.
Sorry to hear that Hypno may be travelling back via Calais - as I understand it there's big delays due to strikes at the port.0 -
Just seen your reply Mudbath - what a nutter to go 'through you', didn't he know who you ARE?!0

:rotfl: Well I did tell him, after the event, that I am THE mudbath who posts on Hypno's thread! He then got very embarrassed and ran out of the shop leaving his three rag rugs, 5 x 100 tealights and a pink and orange lamp....no accounting for taste! I think he'd left before the camera crews arrived for the headlines on 10 O'clock news!0
