Well, on the rare occasion that I have reason......I can scrub up nicely  And in super quick time too......could almost fit in another cup of coffee before I go :rotfl:
Actually, I am lucky that the venue we are going to is just a mile away from my house, so while most people are rushing to get on their way, I can leave it until more or less the last minuteAlso means, that when I have had enough, it is only a couple of mins home, not an hour in a shared taxi!
We are travelling down overnight tomorrow night, so I get all day at home to [STRIKE]rest[/STRIKE] rush around making sure everything is ready to leave, ahead of a night without sleep (nothing new there then!)......so I actually have more time available to me than I thought, which is good. I have a mystery shop to fit in somewhere along the way, though......it never ends :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Sorry I haven't been around for a while; lotsa lurking but not much else! Congratulations to all on a battle bravely fought on all fronts.
Just a quick bit of advice needed: I sell on Amazon and somebody's e-mailed me to say they placed an order in error. Would you ask the person to post it back (big paperback, £3 to post 1st class and expensive enought to lose a bit to make sure it got there!) and then refund in full?
I posted it on Wednesday so there's a good chance it's arrived. Sigh.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

I've only been able to use OH's Te$co cc.......but will they have charged for every transaction?
Initial 2 deposits were the only ones that used their money though. As the card hasn't been used all the transactions have left the account well in credit. So what cash advance is there.........?
I got charged the cash advance fee at the end of the month - it was a bit of a surprise
Hypno - have a lovely evening with work colleagues! Also, congratulations on a fabulous bonus :T
Hope you can do all the financial stuff tomorrow before you leave . I'm delighted you know in advance, so now you really CAN relax and forget throwing that "extra" on debt... treat yourself... or if that's too difficult can you not buy a treat for Christmas for the family?
I'm sorry I can't help out on the Amazon question.. I hope someone else can help. I think there's an eb@y / Am@z0n thread on the boards somewhere and I'm sure someone will be able to answer your question really easily.0 -

Great news on the bonus, Hypno: that's one less thing to worry about while you are partying/away.
It seems to be a day for good financial news all-round: I won £5 on BB yesterday and today, found out that I will be getting paid a fair amount more than normal next week and Ebay sales seem possibly promising (watchers but no bids yet except for £50 for an old, very dead laptop that I never would have thought anyone would have wanted and which I would have paid someone to take away!)
*Looks around* S'alright in here...I'm holding good on that promise: threadcrashing party here tomorrow folks: it's bring you own, so get your bottle of virtual alcohol in as it would be positively rude to leave a thread so used to being inhabited empty for a week. Please call me 'Pickle'
