    That brings back memories, when our 2 were little, we used to say the number of 'big sleeps' until things happened like birthdays, holidays or Christmas. It had to be 'big sleeps' so they knew afternoon naps didn't make it happen quicker :)

    I am off skiing (where else?) but the difference is that I am going with another "need to run away from it all" friend.....so we are leaving the kids behind with husbands (or in her case Ex) and leaving work/money/general Christmas stress behind for a week......and going for a lovely week in a chalet with someone else to do all our cooking and unlimited wine, with lots of girly gossip, pampering courtesy of all the freebies we could muster in House of Fraser and John Lewis, some fabby chocs and some generall putting the world to rights :D Oh, and we might get a bit of skiing in too.

    And of course the snogging provided it gets you a cheaper ticket... ;)

    excellent progress on the school trip, mudbath!! Fingers crossed for a final win tomorrow that will take you to the complete target! Did you have a good birthday yesterday?

    Everyone here had pie and mash for dinner but because I am still trying the no carb thing I got out of the freezer something that I thought was veggie curry........but it turned out (once I had cooked it and served it to myself) that it was just a chunky sauce that I had made for pasta :rolleyes:

    Rather disappointing.........still, I WILL get into my lbd tomorrow - I will, I will :rolleyes:
