Had the house from hell been something other than what it ended up being, we would be home and dry by now........we had a smallish mortgage on it and would be sitting on a comfortable amount of equity, no debt, and the ability to look seriously at rightmove rather than just having a weekly fix of dreaming

Well I'm a real late starter in the property game.
Lived in London for a few years, so rented there, then rented again when we moved, lived abroad for a short while then bought my first house at 31 and STILL THERE!:rotfl:
We bought it planning to renovate it and rent it out, then either move back to London, away or just buy another house to live in.
Never anticipated being here this long, but really want to move within the next 18 months (or sooner if the bingo keeps up )0 -
Go check your totesport account hypno, nothing for me but they are giving away reloads to some. Check under 'my account' then under 'free bets', good luckMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Well bought first flat at 23, house at 25 but then split with xOH then rented, met DS's dad who had his own place, split up with him further down the line and found it ridiculously difficult to buy anything and ended up here at 35 with flat that needs tons done and not in an area I'd choose either! Five years on still needs tons doing....must not mess up again:o!
Plus I hate the whole buying/selling thing!Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Thank you!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
OK, so thanks to benben's kick up the backside, I have discovered £50 bet basket that I can work through over the next few weeks, with Totesport, and a £10 matched bet from coral for the Cheltenham races at the weekend.........:D
I will set up a new "float" for M/B tomorrow and get myself set up and sorted.......can't do so now because a large G&T makes for dangerous potential errors!!
Thanks benben, it is much appreciated :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Good for you Hypno :T
That is certainly next on my hit list. Read through it a few times now and think I get the gist, so may have a go after next payday....
It seems slightly daunting, but I guess it just takes a bit of effort, then gets easier0 -
I have that too, inmy email box, & immediately thought of Benben. It looks great, & I *will do something with it.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

And there's me moaning about paying £120 for DS's school trip and £190 for DD's! I'll keep stum!
Can I ask a question bingo guru - how much money do I have to deposit to get the £5 a day? I know you mentioned it somewhere but I can't find you post. Thank you xx0
