I've got given a £5 casino reload - played through and came out with £3 which I have withdrawn.....every little helps!
I've also had written confirmation of the council tax repayment I got.....and the good news is they have used some of the refund to pay the remainder of the year's council tax - so I now have nothing more to pay until the new financial yearWhich frees up £178 a month until April :T

Yes it was a nice surprise beanie - it means that is another £500 or so I don't need to find, and that can go towards the debt :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hypno and DT, Taxi and others, how do you reconcile having personal debt and trying to pay off your mortgage?
I only ask, as I see my debt as mine. I know this doesn't work for everyone, but I incurred it not my very sensible OH, so it is separate from our joint finances (plus he has just bought me a car, so it's not as if he's tight), anyway I digress...
I'm looking to steer extra money we're getting back from nursery fees to overpay the mortgage, but the mortgage peeps think I'm better paying the debt first.....0
