The redundancy worked out well, he'd actually been wanting to leave for ages so was actually hoping for it. It did take 6 weeks to find the new job which was really stressful, and that was both of us full time working on the job hunting. He's on Day 4 of the new job today and enjoying it, and not had to use up much of the redundancy money so most of it can go towards house hunting.

It did make me realise how we'd drifted into wasting money on groceries etc, so food shopping has more than halved now and hopefully will stay that way.

Seems like I've got to have a go at these bingo sites, to join in on this thread properly, last time I was on here it was mainly matched betting.

Remember guys that most of these bingo sites will only let you do one withdrawal in any 24 hour period, so if it tells you that you can't withdraw, it probably only means until 24 hours since your last request.

    Hi hypno
I tried to withdraw last night, but it said I hadn't waited 24hrs - I needed to wait 163mins
So I left it until this morning. I had £17.60 in my cash account and £10 bonus = £27.60. So I wanted to deposit £2.40 but couldn't, so played that then deposited a fiver, tried to withdraw £20 - but computer says "no".

I emailed them and they sent an automated reply of how to withdraw *sigh* I'm itching to use the £10 bonus but can't until I get my cash out! (Still, this is my favourite bingo site so far - so thanks! :D)

Am an avid reader of your diary and think the amount you've paid off is AMAZING!!

Wondered if I could be REALLY cheeky and pick your brains?? Have joined K!ngbingo and won WOOO!! I now have £16.60 in cash and £42.50 in bonus, if I add money to withdraw I will lose my bonus?? Then would I have to put more cash in to play again??

Soooo confused...help would be soooo good.

    Thanks

*runs away again...scared although you all seem really nice*

Hi se!! I had a tot up and in October I have only reduced my debt by just over £600......some way short of the £2750 I was aiming for :o:rotfl:

Most months I'd be quite pleased with £600 reduction! I'm glad to see that even super-hypno can't pay off £2750 every month! Does this mean I'm still in the lead of our £3600 challenge?

I know I should be happy with £600, but at that rate it puts my DFD 3 years into the future, which seems like a bloomin long way off compared with the progress makes so far!

The 0% card stands at £3243.67......so you are probably ahead of me, and I know that taxi will be storming home :o

    becblue, don't be scared!

Yes, if you withdraw your "cash" amount you would lose your bonus - you would then rely on the free games to get extra cash (which is what I do).

Alternatively, you carry on playing using your real cash and then your bonus cash to see if you can win bigger amounts, but that's something different altogether because you are risking real money rather than just playing with free money and hoping you win (if that makes sense!).

Hope that helps and hope to see you pop out of lurkdom more often - we're not THAT scary :rotfl:

Don't worry hypno, there's not a soul alive that thinks you will take 3 years to get debt-free. You are allowed your slack months!

    Enjoy!

Sorry so quiet - the finding somewhere to live etc has completely derailed any debtbusting whatsoever unfortunately :( as has the tax office's decision to tax me at basic rate; losing me £30 a week off my budget which means my amazon sales are going towards living at the mo ... grrr. Normal service to be resumed shortly!

It def has potential, but would need to have the annexe added to the main house, and a much bigger kitchen for me.......fussy git aren't I :o

Take yourself back just a few weeks, when you reckoned amazon etc was giving you a pittance and hardly worth counting or bothering with - now it is the difference between panicking and surviving......that is a huge positive difference, and one that will see you through these tough times.
