Evening, I'm shattered, worked all day today in the campus kitchens. My FWB stayed over last night so had less than 4hrs sleep beforehand. Just been watching a film on campus with her so now gonna crash and hopefully restore a decent sleep cycle.

It's good to be back :D

Great that TDQ is now a fully connected member :j & welcome to any newbies too.

All calm here today, my hormones are misbehaving & I could happily have punched someone yesterday, but am now totally [STRIKE]pished[/STRIKE] chilled.

I really dont handle stress very well, I bottle things up & then simmer internally. Woke up at 4 am & considered sending an email to guy at work who hacked me off  Diva behaviour not good in any work situation, especially when only been there 5 minutes . Actually was dehydration that woke me up, but then started replaying the day in my mind & got myself all worked up. Basically the guy waited until 15 minutes before I left to remind of an important task that I hadnt done. I know it was a test but I couldnt stop my mouth from tartly replying how a clearly defined job description would be very helpful.

Will have to be super efficient tomorrow ... as need job to pay for car repairs *wonders if it's too soon to ask for pay rise* :rotfl:

Enough about me, how's everyone else today ?

  • Hello all, welcome back Lula:j well done on the job souk:j

I am just having the other half of the bottle of cava I opened last night and have just remembered that I was sick this morning when I woke up, can't believe I forgot such a thing, may be because I was still half asleep. Am worried it may be the cava as I had 2 glasses last night, but it tastes okay. Am also boiling hot and am sat here in a t shirt next to an open window. I hope I am not sickening for something, I can't afford to take time off work.

Has everyone had their Baileys sample now? Every thread I read has someone saying they got it in the last couple of weeks, am worried the postman has gone off with mine.

Ziggles, I am sorry about the chocs;) You will thank me when they are here:D

Yay, Lula's back :D Sounds like things have been a bit hectic, but are getting sorted. I know the cambelt is expensive, but probably cheaper than a new engine or car if it had gone!

Hmmpf, nope, not had a single s0dding freebie. Except the mini-paingone thingy, but I paid postage for that so would have been asking for my money back if I hadn't got it. I signed up with MPS a couple of months ago and am still getting rubbish through the letterbox. I'm now wondering if they're taking my freebies and still sending me carp!!

I did the free Milka bar thing today and opted to get the voucher sent to me, so I'm half expecting not to receive that either

Hello sarah, thanks for the welcome back * feels all warm & fuzzy *

Sorry, I've had my sample too, ages ago. I suggest you ask where it is. Lovefilm giving away £1 off vouchers for the same product & co op also doing a deal on it this week. I have 2 vouchers ( lovefilm) so happy to send you mine as I dont think I'm quite over last years 2-litres-in-a-week-baileysathon :o I also have 2 x half price M&S pizza vouchers from lovefilm. Doesnt quite make up for the fact that this week DD ensured I got Incredibles & Horton Hears A Who  but it does help a little.

Oh dear, I seem to have sleepwalked to the kitchen, poured myself a glass of Balance & returned to pc completely unaware of my actions

Must remember to take water to bed tonight & thereby avoid having to tread on cat at 4 am which retaliates by walking over my face at 7 am

Hey Gwen :) you're right about the car, its the horror stories of cambelt ripping through engine & essentially writing car off that actually motivated me to get it done.

I tried that and it wouldn't let me order a voucher and when I logged back in to try again it said I was already a member:mad:. I hate not getting my freebies, I ordered a toblerone one which hasn't arrived yet either:rolleyes:
