Sarah, I totally agree with the girls. You have to make yourself feel nice NOW, not wait until you've lost weight. It's not about men, it's about you. One of the girls at work has just split with her man and hasn't even shaved her armpits since. She told me there was no point as no one would see them!!!!! This must be the same logic as some women have for wearing greying underwear. NO NO NO. If you look carp, you'll feel carp.

You are so right, it is about me, totally agree about the greying underwear, I don't have any of that:D. I know that I always feel better if I look better so I am going to get this place tidy and then make a plan:D

I have the clothes, shoes etc for the lifestyle I want, rather than the one I actually have. :o

Couldn't you wear them anyway and just look FABULOUS at all times. Or is it something else, sorry this must have been discussed before i found you all.

Have managed to get a few things done:
    • 2 loads of washing which is now drying
    • decluttered wardrobe
    • bagged up clothes for charity shop
    • tidied handbag
    • washing up
    • coins in piggy
    • stored Christmas presents away
    • some tidying, but more is needed
The wardrobe decluttering was not brilliant, only managed one bagful for charity shop but I did that a few weeks ago as well, I think if I can go through it at least one a month I can throw out a few items each time and it will eventually get done. I can't stop myself from thinking,"Well I haven't worn it for over a year, but I'm sure if I throw it out I will need it next week.":o

I hope that as I lose more weight I will be able to transfer the unworn bagged and tagged clothes over to the wardrobe as soon as they fit and that will make me throw some of the older stuff out. I want to eventually have a wardrobe that is only full of nice things so that I have no choice but to be wearing nice things all the time. I shall leave the shoe pile for another day.:D

    Hello all :D

Hey Sarah, a little bit of declutter at a time is better anyway as it will get you into the habit of doing it and you'll be able to re-assess each item with fresh eyes every time. I've been unpacking my boxes from Oz one at a time and it's much easier that way.

The party I went to was really good, I went as the Absinthe Fairy from Eurotrip. Still got green glitter in my hair :(

My 'friend with benefits' that I've been seeing stayed at mine and we went for a massive fry-up this morning and then went sea-swimming which was cold but really invigorating and refreshing. My ex also walked past us as we were arm-in-arm and she looked really angry so that cheered me up :D

Now I have tidying to do and 2 assignments in for next week so got to crack on.

I'm watching I'm a Celeb and have a glass of Cava to hand (got 12 bottles due to the post on the grabbit board, very MSE;)). Not exactly pampering but it has cheered me up:D

Yes indeed, I didn't even see her coming until we were about 5m away, we had to pass within about 2 feet of each other and the look on her face was not a happy one!

I don't really want to rub it in her face so I'm glad she didn't catch us kissing or something like that, walking past was understated enough to make the point without being a **** about it.
