I'm watching I'm a Celeb and have a glass of Cava to hand (got 12 bottles due to the post on the grabbit board, very MSE;)). Not exactly pampering but it has cheered me up:D

:j:j:j although I am actually allergic to watching anything with Ant and Dec in it - I can't stand them

Yoyo, is it time for a drink yet? My assignments are doing my head in and I've barely started them!

Hello, reading back through it, this seems like a fun thread. Just thought I would say hi so that you are warned if I impart some wine fuelled "wisdom" at some point. So hello peoples ! :T

    Hello cb_999 and everybody else!

I've just posted on your thread, hope you don't mind and you're right, this thread is fun! The best thread to hang out in!

I'm looking for distractions from researching my council tax band appeal, oh joy! I think I've got quite a good case though. There's only one other house in my block in my band, all the rest are a band lower and some are a fair bit bigger and some have good sized gardens and driveways! I'm fairly sure the other house is in the wrong band aswell. Fingers crossed, I should be able to get my band dropped and hopefully get a cheque for my overpayments so far.

Hope you're all having good (and more interesting ) evenings

PS. Still no sign of Lula, although I am relieved to hear it's likely just IT problems, I miss her posts :(
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending
  • Ho Ho Ho TDQ it's whisky o'clock- i'm tasting asome whiskies tonight and it's fun. Decided to branch out from red wine (of which i have beeen trially many many varieties for the last 2 months) so now it's whisky tasting and cross-stiching xmas cards....haha!
decided that stright up is NOT the way forward and it's necessary to 'open' up the whisky with a touch of cold mineral water rather than ice...loving it loving it loving it!
Hi cb it is fun to lurk on here too...i spend a lot of time thinking...hey that's exactly what i think! LOL!
Hi everyone else hope you're well

Hi Ziggles. I had a looooooong hard look at the single malts in Tescos today but resisted and came home with a 4 quid bottle of JP Chenet "Rouge" wine, which to be honest isn't too bad! Probably for the best! Enjoy!
  • Well really if you look at it in calories it's worth my while to sip on a wee dram of a night than a glass of wine.
Forgot to say that i have weight loss to report lost half a pound in the last 2 weeks :p...well not really becasue i think it's all to do with taking a wee before i weighed in...so really i've managed to stay the same...

Hmmm I didn't get a drink in the end but today I managed to get my tax rebate sorted, I'm expecting a cheque for over £500 in 2-3 weeks :D

    Hi all!

Completely off topic but can anyone explain what an editor's lifestyle is? Got a text that went right over my head ... :o
