I have to confess to being a former regular Faith customer aswell :o I defected to Dune though, because I like their stuff more, although I slightly resent paying £55 for a pair of pumps , but they've lasted well over a year of being worn into the ground, so perhaps justified?

Well a good start to the weekend. My flatmate came back at 8am this morning so I lept out of bed to move the cabinet and he helped me rearrange the furniture in the hallway to make room for it out there so it doesn't have to come in my room :j:j

He also bought me some American chocolate / sweets which are yummy (reeces pieces and corn candy)

Got a washing load out on the line, took my bike to be fixed (needed works to brakes and gears and only cost £35:T)

Went to Brewers to buy decorating bits and pieces as had £10 off voucher so am now all set for when I move in.

I think I'm going to go to the cinema this afternoon as I've got a voucher for Cineworld and so I need to use it this weekend.

So all in all a pretty good one!

Hope everyone else is enjoying the sunshine!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

I've been walking today did one of the three peaks Ingleborough, I've got pink/red arms now, it was warm up on the hill but really windy, can't complain tho, cos there was a 3 peak race on, the record to beat is 2 and a half hours, they were running full pelt down the hill, it's madness, got talking to a guy who's wife was runing it, he said she wanted to be the first woman in her group back first and she's 60, couldn't beleive it.

Been enjoying the sunshine with a pub lunch yesterday (enormous sarnies), and a walk down the canal to burn some of it off and read the papers. A ratio of one duck to five drakes is causing a lot of quacking, some hurried "oh, no you don't" flights and one duck to come and hide under our bench to avoid amorous intentions.

OH is working today, so I am trying (and failing) to persuade myself to get on with some eBaying. Perhaps tomorrow... :embarasse

eco - that sounds like a fab walk, and well done that 60-year-old. :T

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Poor duckies!

I'm with you on the ebaying! The pile in the corner is growing bigger. Ebay listings = 0 Clothes swap listings = 22 (but that's taken me all week)!

Aargh, I've been so lazy today.

My top achievement today has been to get to Tesco just before closing time.....

I have watched an inordinate number of Poirot dramas, a thing with !!!!!! Van Dyke - kind of Diagnosis Murdrer but not and a lot of marathon runners.....all achieved in my PJ's while eating snacks :o:o:o

I probably should try and do something for the next few hours so that at least I don't live in a tip.

Plus I have to 'learn' the new Alphabeat album, a super-kind friend has got me a ticket for Wednesday's gig and I only know their last album so he's sent me it so I can learn it.... and as usual have left my homework til Sunday night

I thought homework was supposed to be kept until last minute on a Sunday night? No?

Sunday opening times always confused me when I lived in England! We don't have that in Scotland and I live near a 24 hours *sda, so I don't understand not being able to nip out for wahtever you might need, whenever you might need it... which is probably why my NSD challenge has been so tough for me ;).
