Hello all , well I have registered for my tesco card for a balance transfer to hsbc i think which is 15 months 0% or something. But did it online but I have not received an email or anything to say I did it. And it said I would receive one. does this mean its not worked? Should I do it again just in case?
I have been really cutting back and it has not made much difference but my gym stops soon. they keep phoning me about the cheques i send but i am not doing a direct debit for one more payment.
I saw andy last night, he made me a nice tea, pasta with roasted vegetables yum, talked and snogged a lot ha ha, we really really mad about each other, hes so jolly and likes me for who i am and i really really could fall for him and he said the same to me. He phones me every day, texts and even rang me when his daughter was next to him and she shouted hello.
I have my daughter this weekend who i have not seen for five weeks, she been spending time with friends and on holiday in florida too at easter. Andy is coming over on sunday night after I have taken my daughter back home so we may go to a pub for a drink or walk along the canal if its nice near me. I cant wait, we already know we are so matched its probably going to be a serious relationship and both of us have never really had the feelings we both have. Its great!:rotfl:
I cant even eat properly!:kisses2:
He has paid for everything so far and its nice to be treated.
What a lucky girl i am and finally off that shelf!
He said he can't believe I am his girlfriend.
also he does really good cvs so he is going to help me get a better job which I really do need a rise in wage as £1000 a month does not last at all. I really do think this country is way too expensive to live in and its becoming almost like a country just for the rich?Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
Hello
:hello: Hello Carole!! Good to see you back! I'm not doing too great this month either, but actually no month is good for me *rollseyes*
I won £100 on the work lottery! :T The £10k would have been nicer, but clearly I'm working up to it
Wow, sounds like things are going well Butterflies! Hope you have a lovely weekend with your daughter and Andy.
So sorry to hear about your Mum, Souk. It's awful seeing someone you love in pain and feeling helpless that you can't make it better. All fingers are crossed that all goes well next week and your Mum feels a bit better soon.
I had a manicure this afternoon. Was very MSE as I went to the local college so only £5. BargainExcept it took her nearly two hours (I was very bored by the end) and I'm afraid, my nails look slightly like they've been painted by a 6 year old
Slightly frustrating as I could see a woman round the other side also having a manicure and her student was doing a fabulous job. I couldn't help sitting there looking longingly at her beautifully shaped, evenly painted glossy nails and wishing that I'd got her student. Oh well...

Just popping in because I'm avoiding my dissertation... I've written 600 words on the tiny differences between different bits of steel today and it's killing me. Have to do at least another 400 before I can sleep

Sounds "rivet"ing (sorry!) Finding out about the tiny differences in different types of stell would probably cure my insomniaGoood luck with the dissertation!!!!
Gwen, or Souk... I can't remeber which of you iron your bed sheets and laugh at the crumpled people of the world... but I just wanted to say thank you! I am very sad today as my parents oldest dog has gone to chase bunny rabbits in the sky and I just want him here as a puppy again... but I was changing (out of my gym gear I've been sitting in whilst not going to the gym) into my jeans, I glanced in the mirror and realised I am one of those crumpled people. And proud of it too. The only iron I need is the type to keep me from being aneamic! But I couldn't help at laughing at my crumpled self

Hello all:)
Nothing much to report, I think I have lost 1lb:jbut need to check on Sunday, have made a bit more money on ebay:j and have 10 items ending at the weekend, recieved a huge electricity bill:mad: booked a couple of theatre trips :jand manage to make some overpayments:j. I don't think that will be happening next month due to the huge bill and car insurance being due:(.
I have finally returned the expensive handbag so I can use some of that money for the bill but I still need to return the Tesco clothes, I keep forgetting and I need to get on top of it as forgetting to return things is why I have so much stuff to go on ebay.:( I don't want to return to my old ways:eek:.
I can feel myself slipping backwards slightly re being frugal, eg running to Tesco most evenings for a few things rather than sticking to my list and my £20 budget, buying lunch instead of taking it with me, throwing food out, buying silly things I don't really need. I am really cross with myself as I am determined to reach my £20k target and all this time spent ebaying will be wasted if I am just frittering money away.I need to get myself motivated again. I want to fill my ISA and get my Barclaycard paid off by December. I am doing okay with the ISA but not the cc, I hate paying back money I have already spent:(. I am just going to have to force myslef and then close it immediately, to stop myself thinking of it as available funds when it isn't.:o
I am going to spend from now to the end of May being properly frugal, like I was at the beginning of the year. I know I can do it and I do actually enjoy seeing how much I can do on very little money, I have just lost track of it a bit.:o I think a month of making an effort will hopefully get me back on the straight and narrow. I am determined to do this! I am going to need to start posting daily again as it seems to help when I write down all the small things I do and May is going to be a tight month.
Am off to make a start by photographing some things to list at the weekend:).

Sarah, think we've all had a bit of a carp month. I have nearly slipped into utter misery this month. Going to do a list tonight of all the free/cheap stuff I can do on days off and then will look at set days to plan them in for. Then I can still do a few cheap things in the evenings and have a nice weeks holiday! Don't worry and lets get back to it next month!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

:rotfl:Me too:D. Life is too short to iron anything ever! I'm sure there is an iron around here somewhere but I haven't seen it for a couple of years.
