  • Hi all could not change my car insurance today, richard egger quoted £262 a few weeks ago but they want £60 upfront which I just have not got.:( I cried about that, I am so soft and tearful sometimes. I got £200 for rest of month now. and £73 ccl tax and £28 of gym cheque to come out of that. So just applied for a balance transfer of 1978.28 from tesco credit card to hopefully hsbc 15 mths 0%.

Now I may keep my tesco credit card open. I have to wait and see if I am accepted to hsbc first!
Never done this before. I could wait until i get paid 15th May then cancel my old car ins which is £344 over 10 months and then get the richard egger insurace up and running. £21 a month sounds better than £34 a month. I hate struggling but then I am really proud of what I have managed. I think I am just tired today and have had my hair cut at supercuts today but it still cost me £29.90, yet they advertise £19.95 for cut and blow but then is it because my hair is long? I am sure it was £25 at my old hairdressers.

I had my second date yesterday with the guy I met a few weeks ago. He was in devon last week on hols with daughter. We spoke on phone every night. Went to his house yesterday, and we drove to southport, walked around, laughed and joked and had a good time, we were really close and then tea in wetherspoons later. Left last night lateish and been invited round for tea on wed. Trying not to get too excited about it, but he assures me he likes me for me and feels lucky to have met me. I do like him though a lot.

Hes going to take a look at my cv and help me get a better job as he wants to do same.

Ok, I've been dipping my toe tentatively back in the murky water of internet dating recently. I think mainly to boost my confidence a little and to see what's out there after the frankly unnecessary disaster that was POF man...answer = not much...until tonight. A very hot 27 year old barrister has just added me as a favourite and my photo is on there, so he knows what I look like. Thankyou Peter, you've made my evening :D

Glad things are going well Butterflies, keep us posted.
