Ok, I think I now 'get' the whole Brazilian grand prix thing. Checked BBC news and Jenson Button has won the Formula One world championship. I guess the qualifying might have been quite important then, lol...:o
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

I think like that sometimes. There were some gorgeous shoes in River Island and I thought I could wear them to my wedding (it didn't even occur to me to wear designer for my wedding fantasy although I do think I would investigate Sophie Kokosolaki as I love her dresses.......or maybe a DVF wrap dress..not very weddingy but would be ace to have one and would be able to wear again!)

It does bother me a bit that I have more fantasies about the wedding than the groom  I often see fab hairstyles in my book and think 'that would be ace for 'my' wedding'

I think I would like a wedding but not a marriage.....and mostly I'd like a wedding for the presents.... oh god I'm so wrong on so many levels.....
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

    Hi makeup

Nothing wrong with the odd wedding fantasy - nothing wrong there! I have been known to thing baby clothes are cute - doesn't mean I'm planning to go there
Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!

Had a brilliant weekend, have met a friend of a friend a couple of times on nights out, and saw him again this weekend, and every time I meet him I like him a little bit more and now I have a full blown crush on him! Pretty sure he likes me too....not sure when I will see him next, defo on the 31st but maybe before then too? He friended me on facebook, thats a good sign right?

Hope everyone else had a good time too

    Shoe Gal,

How about having a shoe budget that has to last a year and if you spend it all in the first month then tough luck? You could add up everything you have spent on shoes this year (including re-healing and party feet etc) and then halve it.

Do you remember the bit in Sex and the City when Carrie realises she has spent 40 grand on shoes?

what does everyone think of these? Tried them on at the weekend and fell in love, but need some help justifying them

I saw a dress last week which would be perfect as a wedding dress:o I did actually ponder buying it and worrying about the groom later:o :rotfl:

In fairness you probably started planning your wedding about 10 years before "discovering" boys though ;).

It was in the sales as well so would have counted as a bargain:D I had to remind myself there will always be dresses. Plus it might be a bit wierd to have a wedding dress hanging in your wardrobe, I don't want to frighten anyone off:D

My 1st Fiancee did. It was apparently a tradition in her family that the girls in the family were given 1 as an 18th birthday present. Can't say it frightened me.

Sarah I think you should buy it and wear it on dates!

I haven't been on a date like that yet but some haven't been too far off.

That is a very bizarre tradition. Thank goodness we never had that in our family, considering I turned 18 nearly 16 years ago I dread to think what kind of meringue would be hanging in my wardrobe.......

Carole - not sure if I should be talking you in or out of the boots. I do like them, I love purple (had some purple boots last year) and the buckle detail is very glamorous. However I, personally, would find the heel too high for everyday use and I think the amount boots cost, you should be able to wear them a lot! Also the two reviews both say the boots are hard to get on which would annoy me as I'm late for everything and shoes which take ages to put on (yes, gladiator sandals, I'm talking to you) drive me crazy!!
