    Sarah,

The boots being bargainous has nothing to do with the wanting of them I'm afraid. I have always been happy to buy cheap clothes * decides this is not the right time to admit to having just registered on the Jigsaw website* but have never wanted to put a price limit on a pair of boots. I did order 2 pairs after Christmas & sent one pair back because they were just not comfortable, so technically I really am owed a pair :D.

I want them because I believe them to be gorgeous, I have no knee high black leather boots, they will complement all the outfits that I [STRIKE]am virtually buying[/STRIKE]have & they will make me happy & make up for the fact that I have to spend almost the same amount on child care next week so that I can go to work to earn money to pay off my F* CCs

I promise to return them if they are not absolutely perfect & deliciously comfortable. Free delivery as they are over £70 :D

ps - dont you just love these :

    pps - I can do links - yay :)

Would it be more viable if I tell you that I will use my cashback CC & then immediately pay it off ? * Begs unashamedly*

No. Because you cc balance will remain the same. If you have a spare £90 pay it to your card. It's 2% knocked off your debt in one go. Due to wages !!!! up I have less than that to live on this week. I was the same with wellies a few weeks ago. I want them. But I managed without. I can make do. I needed a packet of pens this week. Usually I would go for the pretty ones which were £3 ish but I ignored them and got the basics ones for 79p. And I was annoyed at having to part with the money. I was annoyed at having to part with a £1 coin. Not much but it does show a mental shift.

*feels bewildered and faint at own behaviour*

I am going to get a bottle of wine as something odd appears to have happened to me. Being bossy and cruel to be kind is a new one on me. In this instance I consider wine a medical necessity. (Look Shoe Gal, I can still do justification:p)

Well you do have £94.01 left in your clothes challenge fund so you could use that and have £4.01 left for clothes? Which is £4.01 more than me and still doable:D You could replenish your clothes fund by asking for vouchers for birthdays/surveys etc. Then it will all be perfectly justifiable :D

I think you are right about shoes, never a good idea to get cheap ones as you will need to keep replacing them so it's probably cheaper overall to get the best you can afford.

Hmmm this is a case of double standards I think :p

Well, when you say that I will have paid 2% off the debt then it does put a different light on the matter. I guess I had better put these :

    http://www.faith.co.uk/black-corsage-leather-court-shoe-prod563100/

    & these :

    http://www.faith.co.uk/dark-brown-tortoise-ijiya-sunglasses-prod582977/ back as well then

Alright Cruella, I will not buy them tonight, will sleep on it.

*wails & weeps uncontrollably* & wanders off to fill wine glass to the brim :rotfl:

I agree that I could use the clothes challenge money ... NEVER ! would rather slit my own throat. Sadly the birthday option is out ... mine was in January :( will definitely come up with some cunning plan to have those boots ;)
