I am starting again on yet another diet plan - I am now back where I started on 1st January
Sorry tale on my diary

Just been reading your diary, keep your chin-up. You can do it. My problem normally is the weekend. I do really well during the week, but during the weekend I tend to drink too much wine and snack. However, this weekend I have no wine in the house and no snacks, so fingers crossed. lolDFW#972 LBM2 (09/07/12) £25938.84; Current £23783.35;Credit Credit Card1 £128.47/£6424.24 (2%);Credit Card2 £443.86/£15663.25 (2.8%); Overdraft £0/£2500 (0%)0 -
Lula, I have checked the boots and they are only reduced by £20 so not a bargain. I think you should just try to get by with what you have for now (I also want a pair of black knee high boots, however I can't do the zips up on any of them- the shame:o:o:o) and reward yourself when you get the cc under £4k. There will always be boots. There will always be more bargainous boots. And I think that the feeling of getting your card under £4k will be better than the feeling of owning a new pair of boots.
I am currenty pining after a beautiful radio which is £150. I can put it on the cc and have it today. But I already have a functioning radio, it's just not a swoonworthy one. So I have decided that it will be my reward for clearing cc and for now I will manage with what I have. In the meantime I have a picture of it on my visionboard to spur me on. When I clear the cc I will either buy it (partly funded by nectar points) or I will have changed my mind by then. The point is that if I get it now I will feel guilty about it as I shouldn't be buying things when I want to get myself in credit but if I wait until I can afford it with my own money I will get much more enjoyment out of it.
My point is we are all skint and it's crap. I am determined to stop living like this, I can't stand it anymore. I am trying to get to a point where I can buy my own stuff with my own money and stop thinking of the space I have on my cc as available money. It isn't. I want to get to a place of no cc, no loan, a nice amount of savings and a healthy current account balance. I am not going to get there if I keep being waylaid by radios, boots, shoes, clothes, coats, underwear and all the other lovely things I deserve. That's how I got here in the first place. You are starting to be too good to be true :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Has the 'real' sarah been kidnapped and you are the replacement?

Money Fritter
Oh yes!! We always counted on sarah to justify ANY purchases we made - however frivoulos (sp?)
The 2010 version is soooooooooo scary
(Only kidding sarah hun, I think you are doing amazingly well and am secretly jealous of your frugality and weightloss)

If you put the £90 to your credit card instead it would be £4910.
*polishes halo* (which is already very shiny)
*picks jaw up off the floor*
If we were married then this would probably be grounds for a divorce:D
I know you're right :A, but I'm more swayed by the majority vote at the moment. Would it be more viable if I tell you that I will use my cashback CC & then immediately pay it off ? * Begs unashamedly*
Shoe Gal - Ignore the evil bread-baking Money Fritter - that stuff is lethal to skinny women eg:
One slice of bread = average 80 - 100+ calories
One slice of ryvita = average 37 - 45 calories
Just dont have anything yummy in the house. Have gorgeous gloopy greek yoghurt for desserts with a small spoon of honey mixed in to satsify any sweet cravings.
Rosa Bernicia - fab post thank you :A0 -
Thanks Lula
Am doing salmon fishcakes and rice for dinner - have no 'treats' in (mainly because I have been too lazy to go out today)
PS - I still think yoiu should get the boots! Bring back the 'real' sarah :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
