  • Hi all

Usual apologies for lurking, had deadline at work and exam for MSc so all been rather hectic.

    Just wanted to say...
    • hugs to Souk and TJ :grouphug:
    • Lula of course you should buy the boots (I have a pair of black knee boots I bought about 8 years ago and still wear, they are an absolute classic and therefore completely justified on cost per wear)
    • 'nother hug for Shoe Gal :grouphug:, will hop over to your diary and find out the story in a minute.
But mainly I wanted to wish everyone a lovely Valentine's Day - my take on this is that there are many forms of love and they should all be celebrated - friendship, kindness, family, as well as romance. So :p to commercialised nonsense and mean people, we have invited both singles and coupled-up friends round for a party this evening (and have insisted that single people stay til after midnight so nobody can say they were left on their own on Valentine's Day). I even have pink fizz ready for midnight :D but will probably be hungover and then out tomorrow which is why am sending this now!

and the point of that ramble is that SAID is a stunning example of friendship and kindness, you're all lovely, have a fab day :heartpuls:heart:

  • RoseBernica - That is a great idea. and those words about valentines day are so true.

Just out of interest what Msc are you doing. I did a MSc in chemistry and then a PhD in Chemistry/biology.

So I suppose I should be called Dr. Money Fritter
