Sarah that diet thing sounds good, would I be able to watch it on the internet? You're right you know... you CAN do it. 8lb's is a huge amount to lose so well done. I often think of doing the chewing thing but the same as you I always forget. Usually by the second mouthful though
Yes, you can watch it online

I always forget by the second mouthful too, have just scoffed a packet of crisps:oAm much confused by chewing diet? Does this mean you take so long to eat your dinner is cold so you don't eat it all? Is idea to stop you just stuffing your face with no thought?
I think I would find it hard to be out for dinner and be chewing everything 32 times though??
It's supposed to help with recognising when you feel full, because if you bolt it down (like me:o) you don't notice you are uncomfortably full until after you have finished everything. I certainly wouldn't be able to manage chewing 32 times:eek: I think the general idea is that you just spend far more time chewing. What I like about it is that you can eat what you want, you just have to stop the second you realise you are full, which is always the hard bit for me.
Sorry to hear about the chapel. But I do think it means that there is somewhere even more fab on its way to you.

Chocolate orange digestives? How come I've never tried them before.... they sound gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad they're helping to take the edge off.
Speaking of chocolate since I've started eating it again this month I've only had the piece of chocolate cake on 1st Oct, then a choc digestive at a toddler group on thursday and then yesterday went to Bowness for the day and had an ice-cream with a flake. I'm well impressed. Although earlier I felt like I needed chocolate and was about to have a chocolate highlights drink but decided against it. I needed it too much and I think it's probably coz I had that flake yesterday, I don't want to be getting into the vicious circle again.
I've just tried with my tea and one mouthful managed 24 chews other than that it was 8 n 12, I only tried the 3 times.

I used to live with a dietician so I know a little bit about the theory behind the chewing.
Basically there's a bit of a delay before our stomach tells our brain that it is full so if we don't take our time we usually eat more than we need to, By chewing our food properly we make sure that theres enough time for the brain to stay up to date & we only eat what we need to.

I agree makeup there is probably something better round the corner.
The ex has been back on the phone and after the other week when he said he was going to pop round I'm hiding in my bedroom, if he comes past my house, he'll hopefully think I'm out. I've told him not to bother hope he's got the message.0 -
Evening all!
I have had a great evening
1. I lost a pound this week after losing none last week (but am currently bingeing so that's bound to go straight back on. I'm home alone and eating like a crazy person again- it's like a mental switch i tell you:mad::mad:)
2. I found Pink Elephant- i tell you Co-op is rubbishly stocked i've been looking for ages.
3. I am home alone as the evil one who shall not be named has gone away for the week yaaay:j:j:j
makeup and eco hugs- and remember what is for you will not pass you by so if you think it has- it clearly wasn't for you!Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -

Hi Eco
You need to start making a log of when he contacts you & drives past etc. & if he continues to do it you can show that to the police.0 -
Thanks everyone. I know you're all right but at the moment it is hard to see what is going to be out there that it better?
It just had so much space (outdoor and indoor) that I know I will find hard to find.

I'm a city person....does it have a good pub that does food within walking distance, a late night chicken / kebab shop, 24 hour buses or public transport, a cinema within close proximity, a good library, art galleries / museums close by and most definitely the kind of place where the neighbours take no notice of each other????
Although you have got me wondering what my job pays up in the North East and also if this place is near the seaside. I do quite fancy living by the sea.......I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
I'm a city person....does it have a good pub that does food within walking distance Yes, a late night chicken / kebab shop, Don't know but there is a cracking Indian takeaway, 24 hour buses or public transport No, a cinema within close proximity there was 1 just 50 metres away but its now a carpet shop, a good library Don't know, art galleries / museums close by loads, even more if you want to go to that Newcastle place up in Caledonia (though you'll need inoculations & a translator) and most definitely the kind of place where the neighbours take no notice of each other???? Owned it for 2 years & never met one of the neighbours yet
Although you have got me wondering what my job pays up in the North East what's your job? and also if this place is near the seaside. I do quite fancy living by the sea.......Its the 1st house you come to when you turn off Seaside Lane & you can see the sea from the back bedroom window.
Sorry I don't remember what your job is. Whenever I try & remember what people do I get diverted back to Bowski working in a pie shop :drool::drool::drool:0
