Am not following any specific diet at the moment, am just trying to avoid all fast food and only eat what I have in the house, have quite a stockpile to get through:rolleyes: I think part of it is that I can't be bothered to cook sometimes and that I am trying not to keep too much yummy stuff in the house.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Personally I use Nivea Visage liquid (not the creamy one) and find it really good as I have sensitive eyes and a lot of others are too harsh
Thanks, Shoe GalI wear contacts so anything that's good for sensitive eyes is a plus for me

Hi ladies
Sorry to crash your thread but I'm after some advice & I think you may all be best placed to give it...
I desperately need an eye make-up remover that works on mascara! I know, it's hardly dealing with world poverty or anything but I'm sick of looking like a panda when technically it should all be off
Any tips/brands/suggestions v.gratefully appreciated
ps.am loving all the shoes...
Hey Honeybear
What kind of makeup are you using?
If you are using waterproof mascara I would probably advise that you tried something a little less harsh. It is hard to remove and hard on your lashes, best to save for when you really need it.
This isn't a good DFW suggestion but Lancome is ace - bi-facil is excellent.
I also like the no. 7 cleanser as well.
Recently I bought some of the no. 17 wipes and they have been very good and are 99p and you can often get a free gift with purchase with no. 17 as well or points! With the wipes you can really get in and clean your lashes thoroughly
Also do you double cleanse?
This is a good idea especially when wearing make up. Basically take off your make up with a specialist remover and then wash your face with a face wash & water. That can help to get rid of the residue.I've got my own flat :j:j

Hey people
I was talking a while back about setting up a new thread which we could discuss matched betting and I've kind of expanded it into a money neutral Christmas challenge thing......
Hopefully someone will post on it
Anyway if any of you would like to join me on there and we could get into some matched betting and try and pay for Christmas without actually paying for it!!!:jI've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Had to do some spending today, £30 on petrol and £19.30 on food which was all needed and will last the week at least, hopefully more, mostly fruit and veg and a bit of meat and fish, reduced yoghurt, a big bar of Lindt chocolate for £1:D, cereal and bread and half price biscuits. (and a bottle of wine;)). I have lots of tinned and frozen stuff to be getting on with and I am going to try to run those down, I want to try and get them used before I do another big shop. I am trying to concentrate on just not spending money at all rather than finding bargains. (Wine, biscuits and chocolate are necessities:p).
Never a truer word said. :cool:Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
Hello my lovelies,

I have just finished watching a series an channel 4 catch up, which was on tv a couple of years ago, it's called the diets that time forgot and it's about 9 people who move into a Victorian mansion and follow one of three diets;
- Victorian, which consists of lots of meat (basically the Atkins diet)
- Edwardian, where you can eat what you want but you have to chew everything 32 times:eek:
- 1920's, which is a calorie controlled diet

Hello all
Got the email today telling me someone else has got the chapel so I'm gonna be stuck in my flat for a while longer ...:(:(

Sorry to hear about the chapel Makeup, at least you know now so you're not sat around waiting to hear anymore. It's a shame they couldn't have let you know sooner though! I'm sure things will get better, just keep looking, I'm sure something fabulous will come up before long. Treat yourself to some chocolate/wine/biscuits whatever it is that does it for you, it will hopefully take the edge off a bit!
Sarah that diet thing sounds good, would I be able to watch it on the internet? You're right you know... you CAN do it. 8lb's is a huge amount to lose so well done. I often think of doing the chewing thing but the same as you I always forget. Usually by the second mouthful though
Suppose I'd better go and start tea, I've not even been dressed today :eek:Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80

Thanks Bowski, much appreciated....have been munching on some chocolate orange digestives and it is indeed taking the edge off!
Am much confused by chewing diet? Does this mean you take so long to eat your dinner is cold so you don't eat it all? Is idea to stop you just stuffing your face with no thought?
I think I would find it hard to be out for dinner and be chewing everything 32 times though??I've got my own flat :j:j
