Hello DFW peeps, my internet is being connected on Fri the 16th so I can sit on here for hours and catch up properly! Have really missed the forum and you singletons... all my friends have gone and got themselves partners so I'm feeling particularly bitter and cynical today...The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha
I'm sorry for the demon I've become but you should be sorry for the angel you are not.0 -
Hey All
I'm quite excited as I had three things on ebay for sale which finish today and there is now one bid on one of them....that means I've sold something!!! :j Not for very much but still that will hopefully start my Ebay empire off and once my feedback builds up should hopefully improve things!
TDQO - try not to get too bitter and cynical...save that for when you are as old as me!!!! How is your new term going??
I've still got a lot of tidying to do but managed to return library books, roasted a chicken and done a load of washing....I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -

Well if were all eyeing up the pretty shoes, I bought these today...
Its the blue ones, I work at Next so I get discount off all the pretty shoes that they have in at the minute! I just keep getting the box out and stroking them, they are so pretty...
I do love the peep toe ones you bought-im a sucker for an open toe! And what a bargain- I never look for shoes in House Of Fraser, don't know why?
Just getting ready for X factor with my new shoes, a glass of red Jaques, and a Gu chocolate cheesecake...who needs men, eh?0 -

Am avoiding temptation by ignoring all the shoe talk:D
Welcome back TDQ, hope you are enjoying your course and still being helpful to all those freshers:D
Had to do some spending today, £30 on petrol and £19.30 on food which was all needed and will last the week at least, hopefully more, mostly fruit and veg and a bit of meat and fish, reduced yoghurt, a big bar of Lindt chocolate for £1:D, cereal and bread and half price biscuits. (and a bottle of wine;)). I have lots of tinned and frozen stuff to be getting on with and I am going to try to run those down, I want to try and get them used before I do another big shop. I am trying to concentrate on just not spending money at all rather than finding bargains. (Wine, biscuits and chocolate are necessities:p).
Today's list:- food shop under target of £20
- coins in piggy
- used cashback cc which is paid in full each month
- store cupboard meals
- ignored shoe talk:D
- read papers online
