Match.com and dating direct are both on quidco too!

Sorry about your news TDQ, clarabella and Carole M. Losing people is always tough, but around Christmas time it seems to have even more resonance.

I'm debating whether to start a new diary for 2010 or not, seems like the time to, but I'm doing ok with my existing one I think  Not even sure what my plans for 2010 are. I made so many ambitious ones for 2009. I was looking at them and whilst I have achieved some of them, there are loads I haven't :( I need to be more productive this year.

Prefered the black ones - will you be able to walk in them though? if so, you have my respect!

Thanks for the input - do you prefer black/ white or black/ red? Going by the two pairs of peep toe skyscrapers I bought in the sales, one of which I wore to a party on Monday, no I will not be able to walk in them! :p Is there such a thing as practical !!!!!! shoes?

My opinion is you won't be able to walk in them:D. They are the sort of shoes that look fabulous but will absolutely cripple you. I feel old saying thaticon9.gif.

The shoes are all lovely, and if your happy to only wear them when you know you will be getting taxis/not leaving the bedroom ;) then I would defo get them,

I visited the sales to see if there was anything I wanted- it was horrible. Was nearly killed in the crush:mad:. Nothing of any interest, M&S was like taking part in a scrum, Boots had sold out of anything remotely interesting, everywhere was packed out, it took me half an hour to find a parking space:mad:. I won't be risking it tomorrow so it looks like I won't be doing any more spending for 2009.

My shoes have arrived:D. I am not sure whether to keep them, one pair is fab but am not sure about the other two:confused:. Might try to sneak in some online shopping before midnight tomorrow as well, as I am determined to keep to my 20k challenge and to be frugal. :j

Oh dear, Sarahb. The sales are rubbish, aren't they? I ordered a couple of things online, then ventured out to the shops on Sunday. Hardly found anything and feared I was being stalked round the M&S underwear department by a man with a buggy. My Mum went into town yesterday and found a couple of bra's for me at £7 each though.

I'm trying to look on the bright side though, the carp sales mean I spend less money...cool. I might even be able to eat veguely decent food this January...

Make sure you sneak a few treats into the trolley for yourself:D. I have at least a 2 month supply of chocolates thanks to what's left over from Christmas plus all the reductions in the shops:j

Lula, if you are reading, I know you are the welly queen:D. I need to get some wellies as it's forecast to snow again and I was literally housebound for a week due to not having any shoes with a good grip and my street being a solid sheet of ice. Where is a good place to buy wellies? Do I need to look for any sort of make/material?

On the plus side i suppose it stopped us spending any money- but that's what the sales are for:rolleyes:. Now I will have to spend 2010 making use of what I already have:rolleyes:.
