  • Mmmm.. exactly. Was the problem with the current one, and is proving difficult now as well seeing as we're still seeing each other as much as we used to.

You get a guy who ticks all the boxes, then you realise there were extra boxes you forgot to add.

Like, won't break up a relationship because he's confused about his future, even though apparently he still loves me and thinks I'm great... ;)

Too b%#$&y confusing for moi, thats all I can say. Where's that alcohol when you need it...

Oh dear Carole :( Don't blame you for being upset! I think I'd feel the same. It's the disappointment when you realise somebody you thought the world of, isn't quite who you thought they were...

    3.

Thanks for being so nice everyone, am a lot calmer now, Gwen you really hit the nail on the head there.

Just wanted to say hi :hello:

Couldn't post earlier... as I wasn't single, but I am now.. apparently without one decent reason

    Silly men.

Anywho, seeing as half my debt is probably contained in my closet (or more...) I figured I would make myself at home ;)

Am also a fan of chocolate (gone through half a block of old gold this morning), alcohol (won't specify), diets (on Heidi Klum's trainers body plan... although it doesnt include chocolate or alcohol.. so i'm improvising a little :D ) , houses (when I get one) , cats (my darling soxy)

    Am I in? :rotfl:

    Ello

I notice your location is Oz... whereabouts? I just spent a year living in NSW working in the mining industry.

Hmmm help needed ladies, I have the following in my fridge and need a recipe! Am thinking something omelette-ish:

    Eggs
    Spring onions
    Wholemeal bread
    Onions
    Feta cheese
    Red spuds
    Red pepper
    Sour cream

I'm meant to be doing my dissertation so am well up for spending the next 30mins to an hour cooking :D

I'm in Sydney at the moment ;) Beautiful part of the world... but very expensive. Where abouts were you working?

I was in Newcastle for 6 months and then moved to Picton in the southern highlands for the last 6 months. Had a few !!!!-ups in Sydney over the duration

  • Btw, I'd be inclined to do a potato bake with that... but seeing as you'd be substituting one too many things, I won't put up the recipe. Wouldn't want it to turn out bad!

I used to make these yummy potato things at home if your that way inclined... you cook them in a microwave, cut in half and scoop out the middle, and put in a bowl then put the jackets under the grill to crisp. Mix the potato with sour cream, cheese? I'm sure you could use a little fetta.. maybe add a little cooked onion and red pepper then put the mixture back in the jackets and microwave for half a minute-a minute.

Very yummy... but also a walking heart attack, so a once in a blue moon thing!

Either that or as you said, omelettes, maybe a quiche...

  • Ah.. that wasn't too far off! I'm actually moving to the central coast in the next couple of weeks, so very close by to newcastle. The southern highlands is gorgeous too

Unfortunately the spuds are tiny little ones so pretty useless for anything but cooking and chopping/mashing.

I'm going for a frittata as suggested on the old style board... http://www.cookuk.co.uk/eggs/frittata-potato-vegetable-recipe.htm
