I've been to the funeral of one of our minister's wife. DEcided to walk as I knew parking would be difficult. Walked to church and then to the cemetary which is half way home, then back to church and then back home.
We were all invited back to church for a hot lunch but tables and chairs were fast running out so some of us just slipped away to save the family embarrassment. There would have been loads of food knowing our lot but the family would have hated to see us standing.
I know have a healthy 'lunch' of raspberries and a peach!0 -
Ok, have made and tried the gluten free bread. It's a bit stodgy, but I might need to put more yeast in it as it may need more to rise. Will need thinner slices and to heat it a little to make the butter melt in and soften in, but it is quite filling. Not sure on the cake yet, but may need to put greaseproof on the bottom next time, as it has got stuck! (I think)** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I've just been sat at our door feeding the squirrel up close, when Dennis decided to pounce and scare him off
