i bet you are regretting not having a council house as you could of got the discount i got my discount of 24k and loving it:D:D
next 5 years i will have payed all the mortgage now that is success how is that not success.
i am entitled to the 24k discount its not illegal i earned it stayed at the property for 8 years and the amount of rent i paid work it out you numpty.
i deserve the discount you and anybody else cant doing nothing about it.
and next time i see you posting on rtb threads i will run you down again.
You didn't "earn" it. Earning implies working. You paid rent, and for that rent you got a service (somewhere to live). You actually got somewhere to live at below market rates, so in fact you were given a massive leg up by the state. I'm not saying that's wrong, as I've not made my mind up about RTB, but your attitude is horrendous. No wonder hard-working people object to paying tax when they know they're funding people like you. I work with people much more genuinely deserving of help, and they are desperate for the day when they no longer have to rely on handouts.
If that's you running someone down I can see why no-one is quaking in their boots.0 -

Actually, it's the chief exec doing unspeakable things in the car park with his secretary...so I hear...Opinion, advice and information are different things. Don't be surprised if you receive all 3 in response.

Don't live in a council house, so its pretty much irrelevant. Grew up in one, but moved out once I could. Always paid my own way, don't ask for handouts. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I get a sense of pride knowing I am where I am because of my own efforts.0
