Neither is ok if you have dodgy software, WGA stops you getting updates. I've set my computer so it doesnt download it ;)

You pirates sure do go to a lot of effort to avoid being caught out, infact so much effort you'd think just buying the software would give you an easier ride ;)

More people would buy it if it was a reasonable price. That's the reason so many people download Windows illegally. I mean why would someone pay £150 for Vista Home Premium when XP was fine? Windows 7 will be different I think I'll buy a new computer for that when it comes out. But my current computer is old, it came with Windows Me and I didnt feel it was fair to pay for XP after suffering with Me for so many years.

I wouldnt pay for an OS on it's own though, it's just way overpriced, simply because they have a monopoly.

PCs dont tend to come with them installed, and most people are used to Windows because of their monopoly. With Windows you know you'll have less compatibility issues too.

There are more computers on the market today with some form of Linux on them than say 3 years ago. compatibility issues go for any OS, apart from OS X ;)

It makes me laugh when people pirate software from torrents and other people, who's to say it's a clean download?

This makes me laugh. You clearly have no experience of it.

So what you are saying is that software pirates are honorable, and wouldn't dream of putting malicious code in the cracked software, keygens, or download sites.

Correct, I always purchase genuine software or get it free via dreamspark :) The jokes on you.

davb's right, you think they seed the software/music/films out there because they feel like it? Or because they want to add more bots to their malicious doings?

It's because of people like you that steal the software, that everyone has to pay more. You do realise you can do jail time for theft?
