Went to Asda today and took 15 minutes to find the salt, don't feel too daft because two SA's couldn't tell me where it was either.
I will be boycotting T's and will give Morrisons a try at least I know were the bl***y salt is.0 -
:rotfl:Had a lovely visit to Tescos today:rotfl:......:rotfl: took back some 'off' mackerel fillets for refund. Having been stunned :rolleyes: by the glare of the yellow posters stuck to every till, I tried really hard to restrain myself from entering store, but to no avail.... just had to try to get some more copies of the Sun for the Waitys coupon
. Unfortunately they had sold out, :mad: so I left the store without spending a penny. Well that's not quite true, :rotfl: I got out to the car park and faced with further shopping trips to Aldi, Waitrose and Asda, I decided to pop back in store to use the loos
before I left.
I was tempted to do a 'trolley dash' but decided that I had already had my revenge with the smelly fish:eek:, and that I had far more important ways to spend my time :rotfl:......:rotfl: testing out my coupons at Waitrose
Picked up some cheap pears, kiwi, plums and nectarines from Aldi, got a £31 bill at Waitys reduced to £17 using coupons, then finished up at Asda, no coupons but lots of good reductions (plus a couple of extra copies of the Sun for the Waitys coupon :T).
However I am planning a trip to my local Mr Ts tomorrow to hopefully use 2x £5 off £30 Waitys coupons, 1x£5 off £50 Ffoods, 1x £3 off £30 Tesco conditional spend coupons, my £25 moneycards from head office and possibly some of my double up wine coupons.Hope my favourite cashier will be working :rotfl:

hi all this is my first message on here, i have been using coupons at tesco in willenhall and dudley since december 2008, the most iv ever had was £21 worth up until the pedigree coupons came on the site then was alot more, but since gmtv last week both tescos were full of 100s people just using pedigree coupons, grabbing anything they could get there hands on, the shelves were empty, and families on the car park selling coupons to other shoppers before they entered the shop (photocopies may i add) i really think its about time tesco stopped coupons because it was getting out of hand, but just hope they start again soon after its quietened down, does anyone have an idea how long this will last because without coupons i will not be shopping in tesco - i think if it wasnt for the pedigree coupons been introduced and everyone getting greedy tescos will still be accepting coupons now.0

i forgot to mention did anyone read in the sun newspaper on saturday 3rd october at page number 39 about the pedigree coupons at dudley and willenhall tescos ????0

aw thank you :]
problem with throwing a bit of welsh out there (the little i know) you end up google-ing english to welsh translators when someone speaks welsh back to you :rolleyes:
Dim T's i fi hefyd!=Anything I Tescos I also!...
eh!?:rotfl:
I didnt realise what a problem this whole thing was but i should have realised when i went to my Cardiff Tesco and my regular cashier told me "lots of people have been using coupons....this week, its been crazy....some people can do £100 in one transaction":huh: So nieve...genuinely just thought people were actually just doing a better job than my £8 saving!Pah!
No idea what had caused this sudden surge either , but i suppose it was :money:?
