Hello, never posted on here but have been a "lurker" for a while cos I enjoy reading all your chit-chat but as I only acquired a printer the day before "Black Friday" occured at Tescos and even now am unable to install Couponnet, (I'm not techie enough!)I never unfortunately have anything really to contribute.
I would however appreciate a bit of information if possible please.
I am off to the Good Food Show at the NEC tomorrow. I have never been before and am still looking forward to it, especially as I have tickets to see the lovely James Martin but is there anything there to entertain kids with? My DD aged 10 & DS aged 8 are coming with me & OH and are really moaning that "it's gonna be sooooo boring"! So if anyone who has been this week could give me any info about any child friendly stalls or ones that give out free icecream or something, I'd really appreciate it! Also am I correct in assuming that there isn't actually that many money off coupons available there?
Many thanks in advance.Grocery aim £450pm.Spent £519 August, £584 July, £544 June, £541 May, £549 April, £517 March, £517 Feb,£555 Jan, £573 Dec, £465Nov, £561Oct, £493Sept, £426Aug,£496 Jul, £528Jun, £506May,£498April, £558 March, £500Feb, £500 Jan, £490 Dec, £555 Nov,£566 Oct, £505Sept, £450Aug, £410 July, £437 June, £491 May, £471 April, £440 March, £552Feb, £462Jan0 -
Carte D'or stall gives out ice cream and frozen desserts, and also has 30p coupons. There are lots of cake and biscuit stalls giving out samples which are yum. Cheese galore (my fave thing!).
Not many coupons at stalls, what I found were:
Carte D'or
Reggae Reggae Sauce (none on day I went, but got told they were getting more in)
Taylors Coffee Beans
Whites Oats
Wykes Cheese
Plus the coupons in the books handed out as you go in.
Higgity Pies also have 50p coupons, but they only give those out if you buy something (samples are very nice though).0 -
Thankyou Ladyshopper, looks like its the Cart D'or stall for us through out the day then! Mind you, with DS's diabetes and coeliac disease that might stilll be a bit of a problem but will hopefully stop them moaning the whole day through!Grocery aim £450pm.Spent £519 August, £584 July, £544 June, £541 May, £549 April, £517 March, £517 Feb,£555 Jan, £573 Dec, £465Nov, £561Oct, £493Sept, £426Aug,£496 Jul, £528Jun, £506May,£498April, £558 March, £500Feb, £500 Jan, £490 Dec, £555 Nov,£566 Oct, £505Sept, £450Aug, £410 July, £437 June, £491 May, £471 April, £440 March, £552Feb, £462Jan0

never complain about growing old,far too many people have been denied that privilege.0 -
Might be worth stopping by the Mrs Crimbles Stall, they were gluten free and everything free, and were really tasty!
Also Penns Pretzels for freebies, tasters out in bowls plus little mini packs being given out.
Lots of juices, coffee, and for the adults alcohol!0 -
Thank Gill & Ladyshopper, DS will be very happy to find a G/F stall and sounds like us adults will be more than looked after!
