    Happy Weekend Everyone!!

Had a leaflet thru' the door yesterday invited me to a public open day regarding a planning application to build a Lidl neighbourhood food store within a mile of me. Is this a small version of a Lidl and are the prices the same? I assume they will take the spend and saves? Could be great news if it goes ahead. Anyway it said there will be lots of samples of their foods to try that day. :j

I don't think Lidl has different sized stores like Tesco and Sainsbury's. I think they call all their stores "neighbourhood" stores as it sounds friendly and part of the community. Hope you get your store!!!

I have not had time to study this but basically if you sign up with Anchor and enter codes from packs of butter you to get add cows to your herd and according to how many cows you have then you can claim certain rewards. I hope this may be of use to someone, I was hoping there would be a coupon there somewhere but have not found it yet.

I have 27 cows so far and I'm toying with spending them on a rain mac and a shopping bag. I want to know what the rain mac is like first though so if anyone has sent for one please let me know. The picture of it on the site looks like it is made out of plastic.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Went to M & S this morning to use some of the MOC's from The Times - did quite well, got some veggies half price, 2 cheesecakes half price and then half price again with MOC which made them free :D, Gasto Moussaka 99p with 2 MOC's from £5.99, lots of offers and £14 off in MOC's. Bit of a pain with the MOC's though - not one of them scanned so took a little while to work out what price to change stuff to manually .
Followed this up with a rare trip to T's - used £5 Lidl and £2.50 Farm Foods (the young male SA let me have them both even though I hadn't spent enough :T) plus 2 x plenty of one pack (plus this is the one I am going to use to get free with current try me free offer) ;), 2 MOC's from mailing off some Comfort, 30 extra points, 2 x Philadephia with chives (2 for £2) with 2 x 50p MOC's, half price CIF Activ Fizz with 50p MOC. Total £11.50 off in MOC's and £12.15 in multisaves, paid £9 :D. I must say T's were very busy, lady on Customer Services said they had been all week due to Lidl coupon - Sainsbury's yesterday and M & S today were not very busy in comparison.
My freezer and fridge are completely full and so is the garage. Need to stop buying stuff now :rotfl::rotfl:
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

havent set foot outside today, its not stopped raining, so for tea tonight gill is having home made veggie stew with quorn,(bought with proper quorn mocs, lol) and lots of other delicious things, it got to be done on a miserable day like today, ready-to-eat-19.gif

if I had some veggie suet I'd make some yummie dumplings to go with it.
