Does anyone getting the feeling that Asda's profits are going to jump up pretty soon?

Guy at my T's took great delight at handing all my coupons back, and saying policy has changed.

I almost took em back, then i remembered - they never followed policy anyway, and i had bought all the items.

I gave loads of coupons away today to family, then had to ring em up and say don't use em.

    It's over folks.

Same at my store but earlier than 3pm I was there at 2.30 Was very busy so hung around to see if any piles of coupons coming out but none being used. The staff at the shop will be fuming as they all use coupons . Left shopping in basket couldn't be bothered to buy anything. Hope everyone votes with their feet.
Feel really down now have loads of coupons that would't buy product I'll certainly not be buying my shopping from Tesco now. Don't know what I'll be doing with all my time now.

As I suspected it looks national :(

As of 15:00 hrs this afternoon our much beloved coupon policy has ceased :(

    The following is in place;

    COUPON POLICY

We'll happily accept your coupons if you've bough the product. This includes Tesco and supplier coupons. Unfortunately if you haven't bought the product we can't accept the coupon. Thank You.

No, cos they stopped last November.

I'm heading to waitrose first, to test water, then back to Lidl and home bargains for me.

Got £200 of Tesco clubcard coupons to help ease the pain.
  • Err... one word.. Waitrose

Afternoon All.. Just caught up ...

If my local T's Stop coupons then i will have to Abscond as i cant as cant afford to shop at T's .. Their prices are way Hiked on lots of stuff...
In my local T a lot of prices have increased this week by anything from 5p to 30p per item i.e. bisto gravy 72p to 98p,own brand branston pickle 25p to 34p.
I had to go to customer service and mentioned it to one of the staff and she said that prices always increase in the run up to Christmas:eek:
I haven't shopped at another supermarket for some time now but a friend insists that Asda are cheaper without coupons so if my store is affected I shall hitch a ride with her
    I am not a beige person:D
