I just love reading everyone's plans and it's inspired me to do ours....I've actually planned for the WHOLE month of October and just been and bought my meat from the local butchers. Think he thought his Xmas had come early as I bought the whole months meat in one go! But it earnt me a 10% discount :D and had Tesco deliver last night and I'm hoping that this way we won't spend so much on food!

Anyway back to the point of this thread :o..... here's my meal plan for the week .

Today - something on toast/toasted sandwiches
Sunday - Roast Pork and all the trimmings hg.

and then the rest of the week in no particular order....

Pork, tallegio & brocolli lasagne (from Economy Gastronomy using Sunday's leftover pork and HG Broc)
Toad in the hole (for me & DS1)/Sausage & Guinness Casserole (for DH & DS2)
roast pots & hg carrots and cabbage
    Spagetti Bolognese in the slowcooker
HM Chicken Burgers, chips and baked beans/salad
    HM Pizza & salad

Breakfasts are cereal/toast and lunches are wraps/pitta bread. Need to refill the cake tin today so off to do some baking......

    Banana Lovers
Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning
  • I'm mealplanning for a fortnight as we're going away for a long weekend

    mon - Lamb Korma

Well this week hasn’t gone to plan at all as I just haven’t been in the mood for food, so not many of my meals happened.

Friday - had some leftover pasta

Saturday - chicken stirfry with noodles

Sunday – potato and chickpea curry (idea from Rachel021967)

Monday - sausage and bean stew

Tuesday – [STRIKE]honey and paprika chicken with chickpea cous cous[/STRIKE] Changed to spicy coated chicken with wedges and coleslaw

Wednesday - sausage and bean stew

Thursday – [STRIKE]soup – not sure what, will see what’s easiest to get to in the freezer[/STRIKE] had leftover potato and chickpea curry instead

Friday - chicken pie with mash and sweetcorn

Saturday – pizza…don’t know what, will need to go shopping. Might make one and buy toppings or just buy one :o

Sunday – pasta of some description. I’m running out of ideas now

I'll post the rest of mine tomorrow (as I've left the bit of paper with mine on it at work - doh!) Here's what I've got so far though

    Saturday: Jacket Potatoes with Jambalaya
Sunday: Leftover Jacket Potatoes - the contents of the cold cooked totties mixed with bacon, cheese and herbs and reheated :D
    Monday: Toad in the Hole
    Tuesday: At Mum's
Wednesday: Omelette (using up the sausages from the Toad in the Hole)

From there, I'll need the rest of my notes. :) I do know that lunch will be sandwiches and breakfast will be cereal. Yesterday I made some low fat choc chip muffins, so these'll be a nice pud (especially with chopped bananas and ice cream!)

Have a nice week, everyone. It's lovely to see so many nice mealplans!
