Hi Pretz
Your weekend breakfasts sound yummy - fancy a visitor?

I'm not sure about the sorbet as I haven't had a chance to make any yet. I plan on making a sugar syrup having flavoured the water with the tea bags and hope for the best. They are tangerine, peach and echinacea as it happens but I think I might have tried the apple and pear ones in the past lol. I do have some muesli in the oven right now though and the smell is starting to waft through here, all maple syrupy and almondy which is making me hungry!
Forgot to own up - the menu for this week and last week are based on the Tesco ediet sample menu plans from their website! I am struggling to shift the last stone after having the little one and need something to boost the weight loss again. I don't really want to pay the charges but they do so many different types of diet and have a sample or two for each. They use the eat-well plate as a guide so I reckoned it's all good

Came on looking for inspiration and def found it lol!
winged one - chorizo bake sounds yummy - any chance you could share the recipe?
thanks, off to write mean plan, back soon...0 -
I love being noisy and greedy at seeing what people are eating, though some menus are making me very jelous as they sound delicious!
Mine is
Monday - Cottage pie {made with soya mince} with carrots and broccolli
Tuesday - leftover mince with jacket potatoes and some grated cheese
Wednesday - Homemade chicken curry with rice and naan bread {leftovers freezed for later in month}
Thursday - slow cooked beef with mash and veggies {use large joint and leftovers go to make stew and steak and potato pies to freeze}
Friday - Home made chilli using beef from yesterday with rice
Saturday - left over chilli for lunch and either takeaway or a cheap meal out because it's my BIRTHDAY!0 -
Monday - Bangers & Mash
Tuesday - HM Salmon fishcakes with Sweet Potatoes & Peas
Wednesday - Vegetable Curry
Thursday - HM Minestrone Soup
Friday - Chicken stir fry
Saturday - Don't plan Sat as it's either quick food (pasta, beans on toast etc or Left overs)
Sunday - HM Pizza
I tried to meal plan before, but determined to stick to it. It's so much easier, just need to remember to defrost things etc etc ... but have got myself really organised this month; freeze, fridge and cupboard inventory done along with monthly meal plan. So this month I'm working to empty them, so I can do a large shop and batch cook. I will be get my slow cooker back out, for November.0 -
Is it Friday already? How did that happen!
This week's menu has gone down well, except we had a takeaway pizza last night as we were late in from our maternity class. Still, other than that it has been on plan.
M-Cheese and sweetcorn risotto (that we didn't make last night)
T-Veggie sausages in pittas with salad
W-Tuna pasta bake
T-Home made pizzas
F-Home made veggie curry (using Curry Queen's recipe for the first time)
S-Mexican night- Fajitas, chilli, guacamole, sour cream, rice
S-Probably going to family, but if not then it'll be freezer leftovers.
Lunches will be sarnies for OH, soup and toasties for me. Breakfasts will be various cereals for OH and porridge and fruit for me.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator
