I bet I'd get through in 5 secs if I was a new customer wishing to take up a contract.

    £100 cashback on the day
    1gig memory card free
    PSP free

    Cushty!

Is the fantastic deal you got open to the public ? or did you get a bit more coz your staff ?

Whats the best deal i can get - was looking to go on orange dolphin £35 500 min 500 txt and unlimited number - just didnt fancy the 18 months or the £35 really ! :p

I changed from Orange to O2 kept my number. 400 mns + 400 texts for 1st 3 months then 200mns + 200 texts a month =£30. After 3 payments send the bill back to them and they refund £90, continue to do this all through your contract and you get every penny back. I make sure to write it down in my diary to remind me , coz should you forget to claim back the bills within 14 days they keep the monthly payments you have made. That is what they rely on customers doing (forgeting)

Is this deal available through O2 directly?! Can't seem to find it on their website. Is it a 12 months contract?

    thanks

Go to www.mobileshop.co there will be several phones to choose from, I chose a free motorola, it's a very slim type, oh and you get 3 months free insurance, but remember to cancel it after the 3 month offer. There are other phones that they charge up to £50 for, but why pay when the free ones are good.

I have just received my first 3 months cashback, a cheque for £90. Remember to put the date you have to claim by in your diary as they rely on customers forgeting.
Hope this helps you and many other MSE's
  • Orange have gone downhill rapidly over the last few years.

I did get a good geal when I asked for a PAC code-
    650 x network mins; 1100 texts 18 month contract @ £30 per month

with 1 years free insurance (normally £5 per month).

    Not bad (i thought)

got my bill in and noticed discrepancy in total mins used compared to mins available. Turns out they want me to pay for LANDLINE calls, but mobile networks are included

Called up Cust serv (billing) and after 50 mins got India, took ages to explain problem, and then to supervisor, then eventually got put through to retentions in UK- who offered me tarriff in the first place

Told them I was offered 650 mins X network, any time and 1100 texts, different charges to landlines were not mentioned, as I would have told them NO.

They either give me what I was offered or terminate contract. I told them I wanted a copy of the recording of the call made when I agreed to the new phone; if they didn't have a copy then they either gave me deal they mentioned, or cancel as they can't hold me to a contract as they have nothing signed, and no proof.
    baldly going on...
