  • Thanks Becky - I was pleased with it as it felt quite comfortable. Wouldn't have wanted to try another mile at that pace though. ;)

It's nice to see that krider is back on form and sallyx popped into to say 'hello'.

Re. the sorbothanes. I bought a couple of new pairs a few weeks ago and they are different to the ones I bought originally. I've found that they don't feel quite the same - not as cushioned.

Hmm, I didn't think of it like that Rich - I'd like to try my pace out at a park run one of these days. I'm hoping that they'll reach Southampton or Portsmouth before too long :D

    Great news Hannah :D

I have a slightly sore leg from last nights run but I may still go out tonight depending on how much I have to eat/drink at my Christmas luch today :p
  • Be careful with those lampposts and bollards jumping out and grazing you....it always seems to happen when running fuelled on alcohol.

Its as if they see you coming and jump out on you at the last minute, naughty street furniture....:p

In good news: Just 5 more days before those evenings start getting lighter again.:D:D

Well done on your runs simply, krider, becky and rich.

    Glad you're feeling better Hannah.

I'm still suffering, but hopefully will get shot of this by the weekend. Off work again today - missing a delightful course about Basic Maths and English skills - nevermind eh?!!

quick post, sorry for not posting or being about for ages. Knee still not sorted, doctor advised rest!- back to see diff doctor on friday. Finding it all very frustrating, feel very jealous everytime I see a runner go by :-(

  • Hope you feel better soon Evab.

    Have fun this afternoon Becky!

Legs are a bit tight after Monday night's expedition - had a lazy night last night so think it will be 4m tempo tonight, 3m recovery Thurs, 3m hills Fri and an attempt at 8m long run on Sunday.
