  • Good signs there, UK........there's not much wrong if it can handle the best part of 10,000 strides and come back unscathed.:D

  • UK - nice one!

Becky - you do 8 miles average per evening? Have I got that right?! Wow!

hannah - which half marathon are you doing? I'm tempted - I guess I'd need to allow a good few months though. 8 miles is my longest run to date.

Are there 10 mile races? That'd be a good step to a half.

No not every night!!! I did 5.5 on Monday and am doing nothing today :D, got a 10 on Thursday but a nice slow one and then a 6.2 on Friday and Saturday (including the parkrun) and then hopefully 16 on Sunday - which makes about 52 miles for the week - it'll be a darn good week if I do all of that though :o

Yeah well so much for my plan of 9 miles today ;)

Kind of stopped up til 3am watching Supervolcano in bed on the laptop. Naturally never woke up til 10 and was halfway through brekkie when my car was returned. Could of gone out afterwards but was in the middle of watching last nights recorded telly (Paradox). Still i have my route planned for doing 9.2 miles after work tomorrow. Just have to go to bed when i get home after work tonight.

25 minute swim yesterday, no idea how many lenghts, I went for time.

Gentle 4mi jog sometime tonight I think, and the same tomorrow. That's the plan anyway. Would like to go for the park run this weekend, but match on Sunday again so not 100% sure yet.

No slippery ice this morning which made it easier going - just a bit damp and wet underfoot. I find the Tempo runs quite challenging but I'm sure they're helping me improve :D

Hope you managed to get out for your run this evening tirlittan - it's a bit wet and blowy out there now. ;)

I'm really enjoying the running atm. I kind of do what feels good, no real goals in mind, but it works atm.

Yes simply, went for my run, just back. My usual 4.24 miles. Weather here was fine, no wind, no rain, just tad wet underfoot. Very pleased with my time again. Tomorrow I'll do exactly the same, just an easy run and I do want to go for the park run on Saturday and maybe just try not to race it as hard as last time...

    Just to recap
