Hi everyone
Had a better night's sleep last night. Had a bit of trouble mixing my IVs up this morning and stabbed myself with a needle but went ok in the end. Just out of practise as haven't had IVs for 3.5 years.
Booked in my flu jab for next week, means I will have 2 aching arms .
On the plus side, I have been playing bingo on BP and already have £20 worth of Amazon vouchers for Christmas.

Afternoon all
You know something, I actually want to be at work!! Unbelievable. I spoke to a friend from work yesterday and she said that everyone was missing me. They also sent a card and it made me realise that I miss all of them too. Plus I am bored out of my brain and have another 2 weeks to go .
My friend is taking me out for the day tomorrow and my sister is around to chaffeur (sp?) me around Sun/Mon/Tues so I can at least get out of the house soon.
Going to try my luck with some competitions I think to pass the time.
On a good note, I got enough points on BP for another £5 voucher yesterday. Fingers crossed I can get another before Thursday and I will have £30 towards Christmas.

Hey everyone
I am feeling practically back to normal now. The only difference is I have still got my line in for at least another week. When it's out, I will be able to sleep properly which is why I think I don't feel like my old self yet.
I am chomping at the bit to do some Christmas shopping but can't get anywhere to do it. Well, not without my mum and sister in tow so no point in buying pressies with them there.
I have decided to do pots of gold for everyone and vary the contents depending on the family member. I am also doing a few hampers. I have also got a few bits off Ebay and ordered a DVD for my sister with my free Amazon vouchers.
I am definitely going to put my health before my debt from now on. However, I would still like to be debt free at some point so I am going to give myself realistic targets to meet so that I don't have to run myself into the ground to meet them.
So, by Christmas Day, I want to have my Barclaycard clear and cancelled. There is only £175 on it so I only need to clear £3.50 a day for the next 50 days. I think that is something that I can achieve without overdoing it.

Morning everyone
Good day today. I just spoke to my nurse who said I can have my line out Monday :j:j:j. At first she asked if I could keep it in for another 2 weeks . I put my foot down and said there was no way I can cope with that - the only reason she wanted that is because my doctor is on holiday for 2 weeks and she wanted him to give me the all clear. I know that I am better and will be even more better when I can get a decent night's sleep!!
She also advised me to wait until next week for my flu jab so I have managed to dodge that for now. Wasn't looking forward to having 2 painful arms.
I redeemed another £10 voucher on BP today so that is £30 towards Xmas (have already bought my sister a DVD with it).
I also got an MS payment for £32 in my account this morning. I had forgotten about this so have added £3 and sent this to Barclaycard. That makes it 10 of my 50 £3.50 installments so only 40 to go.
Finally, I just accepted a couple of easy MS jobs which just involve telling them when I receive some brochures. Will get me £4.50 which will go towards the Barclaycard.

Hola!
Haven't been paying many visits to diaryland recently as the time I get to browse is limited, but am having a bit of a catch-up today. So glad you are feeling better and if it has given you a kick to find a balance between repaying the debts and taking care of yourself, then something positive has come out of it.
Look after yourself hon. x"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
The countdown is on - 2 more lots of IVs to put in and 3 more days until the line comes out :j:j.
Some exciting news that has an upside and a downside is that I have put my name down for a brand new flat. They aren't even built yet but will be ready early next year. They are 1 bed and cost £525 a month which is cheaper than the £550 I am paying now.
They also have gas central heating and are in a great location for me (nearer my work and my mum). I really feel that this would be better for me in terms of cheaper bills and it would be somewhere I could settle long-term.
The downside is that I can't take my beautiful cat with me so I am going to have to find her a new home.
