Hi everyone
Thanks for the good wishes.
I am still in hospital but am starting to feel better. They are stuffing me full of food and drugs (legal of course) and I have put on a couple of kilos since Friday. I am hoping that my doctor may let me go home to continue my IVs there on Monday or Tuesday as I am now gaining weight again.
My IV line won't be out until 30th October though so I won't be back at work until next month. This has given me a real scare and whenever I feel ill now, I am just not even going to contemplate going into work. I have realised how fragile and precious my health is and am going to concentrate on this more than the debts from now on.
Yes, I want to be debt free at some point, but what is the point if I die the day after achieving it because I have run myself into the ground?
People with CF do have shorter life expectancies and I want to try to enjoy my life for a bit instead of worrying about debt all the time. My creditors know my situation and most of them are understanding and have accepted the amounts that I can afford without doing any extra work.
I will continue to do the odd mystery shop, questions on AQA and other bits and pieces but I am not going to let it take over my life. It's all only money after all and if I have no money then my life will carry on some how. But if I don't have my health, then it just won't.

Oh Emily, I had no idea you were ill, not been here in a while. Good thinking in your last post too, health is the most important thing no question at all

Thank you.
I think I definitely know now that I need to put my health before anything else. I guess I needed a scare like this to make me see things clearly and realise that I have got a serious condition and it's not going to get better, just worse. I need to enjoy my time even though I have made mistakes and built up some debt.

Hi Emily
I haven't posted before but have read your diary previously. Just wanted to post cos I've had experience with someone with CF & I can truly say that no-one close to you, including us on here, would want you to wipe yourself out clearing your debt as opposed to living your life
That's maybe not brilliantly worded but it's well intentioned
Look after yourself

Morning everyone
Still stuck in hospital unfortunately. They have said I might be able to come out tomorrow but I am trying not to get my hopes up.
Need to get out of here soon as I can't sleep very well and they keep messing my meals up so it's no wonder I'm not putting on weight in here. My mum had to bring in a KFC for me yesterday. They should just let me out so I can stuff myself with Dominos, donuts and chocolate!!

I hope you get out of there tomorrow em

I'm free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm back at my mum's now. Staying here whilst I've got the line in as it's hard for me to put my drugs in by myself and I can't drive at the moment either.
I have been signed off until 6th November so that I can get the line out beforehand.
Can't wait to get a decent night's sleep :j:j:j
