If you decide to go to Portmerion then have lunch at Castle ???? hotel nearby and you get free entry into Portmerion.
Its not the hotel in the Portmerion grounds.

It's castle deudraeth, and if i remember correctly they do a wine and dine offer, 2 courses for £13.50 pp free glass wine included as well as free entry into village. Did have a leaflet but can't find it.0 -

Vouchers4me gives you 241 entry to Portmierion.
The train doesn't go to the summit of Snowdon until 2008 now as they are re-doing the track and the visitors centre.
The Sealife centre just on Anglesey is very good and you get a free return ticket to use within the week.
There are some fab restaurants in Betws-y-Coed e.g. The Bistro - local welsh delicacies!0 -
For camping if you follow the A5 out of Betws Y Coed there are lots of farmhouses along the road who rent out their fields.
