Cinnys Spending Diary - Take 2

But his hours might increase?! Is that actually humanly possible?! Poor lad will be run into the ground! Hopefully it wont come to that though, that's insane!
Yep, his assistant manager is thinking of leaving due to relocation - if she does it will take him at least two weeks to run interviews etc to fill her position, so basically he will have to take on her job aswell. Which god knows how he will do because hes already working 60 hours at least!
We're just hoping she doesnt leave, she doesnt want to but her husband might be in for a promotion with his company which will mean moving - so as awful as it sounds i hope her OH doesnt get the promotion :rotfl:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Ruddy hell! 60 hour weeks is insane - lets hope he gets a lovely christmas bonus from the boss to say thank you
Right, the budget is decided! Will type it up all neatly later, it's a bit rough as I've rounded DD up 'just incase' and rounded my wages down to the nearest £10 as I'm never 100% certain about pounds and pence. Lets hope it works!0 -

I highly doubt it, but we can keep on dreaming

When does the new budget start from then?Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
This is starting from Friday btw!
Okay *ahem* Drum Roll, Please! I shall now introduce:Cinny's New 3 Week Budget
(ohhh, awhh!)Week One:Wages £145.68
Board £30.00 -
Total £115.68Right, from this I'm going to take £110 out for spending money and add it so the £60 in my purse. Giving me £170 to last me 3 weeks, on a calculator this of course = £55 and some pennies per week but I'm going to just give myself £50 p/w leaving £20 spare 'just incase' - I'm not entirely sure what that will be, but that's the point I guess!
Moving the remaining £5.68 into my savings bringing that to £519.20.Week Two:Wages: £140
Board: £30 -
Total: £110ALL of this will be moved into savings bringing my total to roughly £629.20 (this might be a tad more as I'm never 100% sure of my wages to the pound and pence!)
And at this point, unless I've decided to buy a very small old horse in W1 I should still be living off the £50p/w budget.Week Three:
(this is Green because it's money scary)Wages: £140
Board: £30
O2 £35
Orange £21
Cineworld £13.50
DogsT: £9
Total: £31.50And from that I'll move £31.50 into savings bringing it to: £660.70 This (again) is pretty rough as I've rounded up all the Direct Debits up a couple pounds because I'm paranoid and my wages are normally a couple £ and P over £140 but I can never be 100% sure with them. After doing this I'll have 4 weeks to save £230 which works out at £57.50 p/w (on the nose!) to meet my 2010 savings target. Which is more than easily done even with the holiday.
This doesn't take into account any extra money - like STP earnings or the money I'll be getting for my Blackberry. So hopefully I'll be able to reduce the £57.50 a little bit more!0 -
Someone has been busy sorting out budgets - oh and i liked the fireworks at the beginning!!
Budget looks good though and i have every faith you will keep to it. Good idea about rounding things aswell, i always try to underestimate what we will be paid and anything extra is just a bonus!
Now onto a more serious matter......if i send you all our incomings and outgoings will you make me a budget :rotfl: - only jokingBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I thought the Fireworks gave it some Pazazz! (whatever that means)
I'd try but I'm useless with anyones budgets but my own - tried doing one for OH and it was terrible! I thought his eyes were going to melt when he was reading all my random sums. :rotfl:
I'm really hoping it works though, it isn't like my other ideas I can jack in half way through!0 -

He's a man what do you expect! :rotfl: OH always looks at me completely blankly when i do budgets, he trys to act dumb but i know he can do it because he gets given a budget for the kitchen at work!
Think he gets confused because i get paid monthly, but he gets paid weekly so have to do the budget based on that.
I'm sure you will be able to stick to it, and we'll be here to shout at you if you dontBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Looks good Cinny. Can I ask a question? Why do you pay O2 and Orange?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
It's just an overlapping of contracts - Paying O2 for Octobers bill and Orange payments will be for this month.
Flower - Thank you for offering to shout! I do actually need you guy to do that big time if I spend too much, everyone I know outside the little MSE bubble just tell me to spend more and I really can't be listening to them for the next three weeks! (Well, unless they're saying 'Hey Kate, fancy some Cadbury Fingers?' or something)0 -

:rotfl::rotfl:You should never deprive yourself of cadburys fingers!
I know what you mean though, a lot of our friends are the type of people who have no problem with spending on their credit cards and to be honest some cant understand why we want to pay anymore than the minimum payments every month - its free money dont you know
It is hard to be around people like that and not have the urge to just go on a big spending spree!
But bless OH he text me this morning to ask if we had £20 spare in the budget, he wants me to go and get my nails done because i have been complaining for weeks that they need doing....hmm we'll see would rather pay it off the debts :rotfl:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0
