we have lost channel 5 after retune!

    OK, try unplugging the box/es from the mains, leave for a few minutes, plug it/them back in, fit new batteries to the remote control/s, try again.

    Thanks Inactive, will try later but I believe batteries are OK... I am tired now, and that is only ONE of my problems.

    Retunegate and Nikiya need to take kwikbreaks advice I think and try to sort out their RGB/SVideo/Composite settings. When they have do the retune the boxes seem to have forgotten which they were outputting with. Check your manuals, but the setting is generally in the TV setup part of the menu, around where the widescreen etc settings are. RGB is the best quality picture if your TV can accept it, but some can't so try SVideo or composite in that order. Also make sure that your box is plugged into the AV1 SCART socket on the TV because most TVs only accept RGB on AV1.
    Retunegate, no-one is going to compensate you, and you'll already have lost C5 on your other freeview boxes if you refuse to retune them...
