Does anyone else do daily scratch on the ann summers bingo site - its a st miniver one. Just been told its closing in 2 days time, I have about £3.50 in there but apparently that's not enough to withdraw - if I deposit £10 will it then let me withdraw £13.50? Or shall i ring customer services?

  • Need to deduct £39.53 - due to misunderstanding about how much I would receive for selling some stuff for someone on Ebay. Feel like giving up this month  .

  • Ignore my last post, I deposited £10 and then withdraw the lot. So I have £3.31 to add to my total. Will have to pick another daily scratchcard site now.

I've got quite a large portion of money to add. Dad's closing all his accounts and giving me all his money so I don't get hit with inheritance tax when he dies. I'm not going to add it as its too sad but it is going in my savings towards our house which is what he asked me to do :(
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • Jesa - Very sad but you are doing what he wants you to do. Take Care - My thoughts are with you both. x

    Hi Jesa,

I'm really sorry to hear about your father and can only wish you strength and comfort as you deal with this tough period.

I just wanted to say, speak to an accountant as any "monetary gifts" gifted to spouse and or children up to 7 years prior to date of death are also liable to inheritance tax. There is a tax free amount (used to be £3000) but anything above that is liable I believe..

The best thing to do is to speak to a tax expert to best advise you how and what to do.

Really sorry for your hard times and I wish you all the best.
