  • Elaine,

When we get this all singing and dancing and Kathy is ready to launch it all we will make sure you all know how to use it as I said earlier its a TRIAL and so far so good.
I am just that pleased its working this far. If you click that link on post 596 you should be able to scroll down to your own name and then across all the different columns and see if I got the same things you have on your signature - if not its back to the drawing board then - JUST DON'T TELL ME - well not yet anyway
ofskie for a well deserved glass of red.

you should have open access to it - no account needed - have I stuffed up?

    The Holigan Wooligan
I have done too many different knitting bits that I can't get the hooligan wooligan in my signature - perhaps I should go and investigate that one next.

Wow - I got bogged down with doing some damp-proofing (as you do), the time has flown, and all sorts of things have been happening on here; I'm so glad that Jean and Pam understand all the terminology - as Elaine has said - it's worse than a knitting pattern! Thanks to you both for spending all that time on the update spreadsheet.

Ilovetea - have just approved you for the Wooligans!

Jean - I've just seen your email - I'm so sorry I wasn't around to click the link.

Oooooh it’s great to think of those totals going up &up isn’t it Elaine? :j :j
This new thread only started 30-09-2009 , doing pretty well isn’t it?
Re; ’Well, as usual, if there`s Trouble about it comes to MY door’
Sorry about that Elaine but at least it’s a bit that won’t be coming to mine ! :rotfl:
I hope your DS finds a job soon, but it’s so hard at the mo isn’t it?
My DS2 gave up a job to go back for more qualifications which he got with merits etc,
but the jobs that do come up, always ask for peeps with x number of years experience
It’s the old problem of how can you get experience if you can’t get a job?
He’s really fed up now & feels like he should have just stayed as he was
but as I always say Que Sera, Sera
Fingers crossed here for both of them now.
I hope your DD is feeling better now

Sometimes people look at me very strangely & when I ask them what’s wrong, they ask me how I can laugh about the particular situation, but crying doesn’t help does it ...
just makes your eyes sore & gives you a blocked nose & headache
I’ll probably end up like one of the mad old woman you used to see in old b/w films sitting in the corner in an asylum ... but STILL laughing :rotfl::rotfl:

re ‘it's sewing in those annoying ends, lol! I find it so difficult to tuck them in without it being obvious! I might try plaiting the wool instead and leaving the 3 ends as a 'feature' iyswim.’
    That’s a good idea!
It’s not so bad with knitting or close crochet patterns; it’s more time consuming to sort the ends out on looser crochet patterns tho

I honestly believe that those who give receive, so just think that though you're going through p-o-o now, you're building up blessings for yourself with all that you do, and those blessings will come back to you one day

I hope I've mastered Photobucket well enough for this picture! I've spent this afternoon sewing on buttons, ribbons etc.

My additions for this week are:

    1 x cardi
    1 x hat

(they were very lacey and complicated and I had to keep unpicking them - hence didn't get much done this week )

    My mum has knitted:

    1 x cardi

I'll get all that stuff in the picture sent off to Shezmit this week, hope I beat the strike.

    xx
