Oh, Shaz - that's terrible for you and your boys. How on earth could they have got the dosage so wrong? I hope, as Kinsey says, that they do prioritise getting the results back. I will be thinking of you all and praying that they can put things right for you.

I haven't been on here much because I keep having to unplug my PC and move my desk while DH is working on the house. I'm hoping it won't be long before I find a permanent place here. We had a nasty thunderstorm last night so I had to unplug my livebox - I lost the last the one in the last big storm we had, so I wasn't taking any chances - it took me four days to get back online then. The rain was torrential last night - I really can't believe it's May and we've only had one really good week this year; lucikly, it was the week that DS2 and his family visited us.

Here's is a photo of most of my Chalky squares; I have another couple to add when I've sewn in the ends charityknittingandcroch.jpg

This is my latest Mrs Twins square charityknittingandcroch.jpg

and these are for a personal project - I'm doing up an old chair that has been in storage since we moved and decided to make a cushion and a throw for it. These squares are for the cushion, and I'll use the same colours but perhaps just stripes for the throw. knittingandcrochetproje.jpg

Well, I'm off to have another cuppa.

I hope you all have a good day and, Shaz, are very much in my thoughts today.

Hi all, early morning for me - just couldn't stay in bed for a lie in despite not having to go to work today........

Shaz - thinking of you and your two boys and hoping that everything turns out well for you & them - that is total incompetence of that psych and he/she should be investigated to see if they are fit to do their job/sacked/disciplined.... I would be so upset too having my own two little boys if that had happened to them. Hugs to you all and best wishes...

going to do some more of the preemie cardie and finish it off today but hope everyone has a good day today.

    Morning all
Was woken up by the sun at 7am, makes things seem better when it shows its face :)

Was told on Sunday one of our neighbour's over the road died while we were on the cruise last week. Such a shock, she was taken ill the day after we went away, apparently it was Pneumonia. She was lovely always on the go, you would'nt think she was 90

sending gentle (((HUGS))) to shaz, elaine and anyone else suffering ATM..... in fact make it a group :grouphug: so we can all join in xx

I'm still coughing and spluttering and sooo cold all the time, my ears seem to be taking turns in going deaf.
I have fallen asleep on the sofa so many times and then spent ages picking up stitches :o

I have managed to do a few things, working on a hot water bottle cover now, nothing fancy just stripes, also did some Ladies slippers, should be in 3 or 4 ply? but I used 3.25 needles and DK but put less stitches on, and they have come out ok I am chuffed with them :) Will post a pic when I find the camera!!!

Found an old Bazzar Book, think it's a Patons one, and there are so many things in there, including "A crinolin lady"(sp) to cover the toilet roll up:rotfl:havent seen them in years....think I will give it a miss though ;)

Off to do something (very little) the ironing is looking at me so I will do half an hour then away it goes

    :coffee:first I think,
take care all and enjoy your days

    Morning ladies

shaz - I cant believe what I read - lots of love and prayers to you and your boys - but on the other hand im :mad::mad: triple mad - just another mistake - I seem to hear so many - where other people are "playing" with someone elses lives (if you know what I mean) - I cant begin to say how sorry I am - hoping the new psych will look after your boys - its seems he has already picked up this error - which seems like he must be on the ball - still no consilation to you - take good care - remember we are all here and thinking of you and those wonderful boys xxxxxx

    shezmit
    - whilst writing the above I was thinking of your mum and the latest with her - thinking of you xxxx

pippa - sorry to hear of your neighbour - hope you are feeling better soon xxx

DON79 - oooo a baby on the way - fingers crossed its the colour your hoping for - still whatever as long as its healthy - oh how exciting another KYS baby xxxx hope you are keeping well during your pregnancy

psso - thinking of you and the family and hoping you are ok - so much to worry about I am sure - hugs to that special boy (oh and dont forget a big one for his wonderful nan XX) xx

I was popping on to say, well positively scream actually - Ive finished my Oxfam Jumper - I really dont know why they take me soooooo long

Things not great here either - my anxiety is positvely sky high - new house is ok - but Im quite far from the school and am finding it difficult to get DS to school - a friend has done it the last few mornings but says thats all - so everyday Im worrying about that - DS said last night "its ok Mum I think 50% of Mums are not made right - its not your fault you are ill you just were not made right" - and the toughest thing he said was he wants a "normal Mum" - well needless to say that was a good blub on the back step - anyway lots of you are having worse problems than this so I should be thankful really - I feel such a burk when this "thing" takes hold and I cant shake it off

Pippa - you are right big group hug this morning needed me thinks xxxx Ironing - Ive told my mountings to stop shouting at me - it will be there tomorrow - I feel a bit like the spanish(?) say manana - is that right chalky - whatever, tommorow.....

Chalky - hope you enjoyed Rod (she whispers that she also likes a bit of Rod but dare not admit to DH and friends)

kathy - hows the building work - finally calming down - I hate disruption (and more so dust!) xx

ISOM - am hoping the work outcome is good - how is your Mum? xx (Confession: no walking each - whoops sorry sack me!)
Catch up with you soon - Jaqui xxx sorry Ive waffled

Lovely squares Moliere - and no need to sew ends in as Chalky wants them left for joining together!

So angry and worried on your behalf Shaz - obviously your priority is your boys but at some point you should ask CAB if there is anything you can do about what must amount to malpractice on the part of their psych. Not only has he misprescribed but he can't have checked their files properly for all this time they were in his care

Sorry you had such a shock on your return Pippa - even the expected can come as an awful suprise

Sorry that your friend is bailing re lifts F1, I know how hopeless it can feel sometimes but I think that your son said some really sweet things!

I finished one dishcloth and have started another. Had to send some bloods off for testing at a private lab yesterday - looks as though Dr now thinks CFS or ME rather than Fibromyalgia. Hope to hear back before the end of the month

morning all...well taken mum to go this am to check how pneumonia is as she still is quite wheezy and it was worrying her...she ok and its just residual effects of pneumonia - no infection thankfully. While there got a phone call from work rep and highly unlikely that sitauation will be resolved any time soon for a couple of reasons...beggars belief! So will be on hold for a while longer...
Sockky sorry that there has been a mix up with meds...must be a huge worry for you but thank goodness they caught it, even though it was too late :( Hang in there...
F1 of course youve forgiven - can you go to GP? The tabs Im on at the mo have been wonderful at reducing panic attacks...wouldnt wish them on my worst enemy...youre bound to be feeling a bit overwhelmed as youve had alot of stress the last few months - just be gentle with yourself...
    Miol love the squares!
Pippa hugs re your neighbor - hard even when they are older...still a gap in life...

Hello all.... well - baby is a............ girl! yay!!! :j:j:j

so I am pleased she will be able to wear the knitted things I have made, just have to wait until she is born now to totally eliminate the risk of Downs Syndrome. It all looks good though as she is perfectly healthy and doesn't have any heart defects which can accompany Down's. I had a 1 in 80 risk of Down's and now it will be even less. All we really cared about was that baby was healthy first and having a girl is just an excellent bonus! :D No matter what else now, I have my baby girl... Only 20 more weeks to go!!!

Hugs to all needing support just now xx
