Hi, it's been a very quiet day on here, hope all is well with Kathy!
We have had torrential rain here (Spain) tonight, with a bit of thunder for good measure, so I lit the candles, 'just in case', so far they haven't been needed. Managed to do some knitting today (wonders will never cease), I am currently knitting a baby blanket. I have managed to get the squares finished for Do on LH, just need to get them posted.
Chalky, brilliant puppies, I am sure the children will be over the moon with them.
Hugs to all those in need xx
P.S. Maytaurus, so sorry to read about your little doggy, hope you are coping ok!'Money and good health is coming easily to Flypeople'0 -

:TThe pups are wonderful Chalky, and your staging of photos is becoming a byword.
Good news about Isoke, tell her she's not to worry us like that again!0 -
Hi
Love the pups Chalky :-)
No knitting or crochet done the last couple of days :-( Hope to get some done later. Gave the hoodie to it's new owner yesterday. I did mean to parcel it up and send it with the dinner I provided for the new mum on Monday, but it was one of those nights when hectic wouldn't describe the chaos going on in the house that night, so the dinner went, but not the hoodie lol, my daughter saw the proud new parents yesterday, so gave it to them then.
I saw the new babe on Sunday. So little. Awwwwww.
Hectic night again tonight. Life group lunch, then off to do a prayer stint for an hour in a barn lol. Nothing like a bit of variety lol.
Have managed to get some flap jacks made and have got two loaves on in the bread machines. I've got very lazy lately, and have been buying instead of making, so this week I've been determined to reverse that trend and have got cakes done, and then some flap jacks done today. My lot will wonder what's wrong with me lol. I aim to give them a treat tomorrow morning and have some choc chip muffins ready for them for breakfast, they love them :-) Not the healthiest of breakfasts though, sorry about that lol. I'll have healthy options on hand lol.
Anyway. Must go and have a shower. All the workers have left so the bathroom is mine :-)
Have a blessed and prosperous day. Hugs to all in need. ((((hugs)))). Love you all.

chalky - i dont know how to express my delight at seeing your puppies and the staging is fantastic its just like from a story book - you are so clever !! - well done - the owners are going to love them. xxx
Well its v chilly here - had lovely sun yesterday - I rescued some wool (new stock in charity shop) to make DS a blanket - from squares with Homer SImpson knitted on some squares and plain square the rest just two colours trouble is no charity knitting done as now i have the wool I want to get it finished (weeks springs to mind....)
I have a pile of ironing that would put the eiffel tower to shame - dust that you could write in and more besides - am feeling a little perkier this week which helps but now after two weeks of too much inactivity I am behind - plus when I was under really big black cloud I treated myself to some cardmaking bits (naughty naughty not MSE) and I want to get on with some of those - the list never ends - I swear i dont know how i had the time to work before ...... and hats off to all those that do xx:T
Right cuppa shouting for me - take care all love to you all - have a good day - Jaqui xxxxDebt Diary: Im not going to be an Ostrich anymore -LBM - 16/1/12 /0 -

Will take the quilt to her so she doesent have to take it on the train if she gets train back! Did a few babette squares last night and have a willing volunteer for more cat blanket collations!! Hope that you Mum is feeling better soon ISOM
Final prep going on for my sister's travels today, then I have one day on my own with all the cats (one of mine plus three of hers) then I am off to visit my MIL for the weekend while a neighbour takes over here, then I am here for a week, back home for a weekend to sort out my new reading glasses, final dentist appointment and some housekeeping, then back for another stint of house and cat sitting.
I feel exhausted just thinking about it but when it's family you have to find the resourses somewhere don't you?
Anyway, it's nice to feel useful and I'm looking forward to the challenge in a masochistic sort of a way!0 -
:grouphug:Hugs to :grouphug:everyone whoe needs them today

My DS2 has been picked for the Scotland under-17s rugby team!!!! :j:j
He got the letter (and loads of bumf) today..glad he had a half-day, I don't think I could have held out to five this evening!!
I tried to get some sewing done...but I couldn't concentrate and kept making mistakes...so have been planting garlic cloves instead!!
At least now we know what we will be doing the four weekends after this one. The first three he will be up in Scotland training and playing, and at Easter he is taking part in a week-long tournament!
Sorry to go on, but I am sooooo proud of my baby (all 6'2" and 17.5 stone of him...yes, he is a prop!)..
It's another lovely day so I will go and get more things done in the greenhouse/garden before walking the dog...
Have a great day everyone...I know I will!
Apologies again for going off-topic!
