donny-gal I was just thinking the same thing about Kathy, I do hope she's ok.

Pol and maytaurus, thankyou, my back is a lot better. Yes, the stray cat is here and very much at home. I'll try to put a photo of him/her on here but don't hold your breath, you know what I'm like with techie stuff.

Shaz, go girl, as Jean said there's someone nice out there waiting for you.

maytaurus of course we remember Billy J Kramer, so your uncle was a Dakota, I would be so proud.

    Morning ladies

may - thanks for your posts - great as ever - I just love the message suggestions for shaz - oh I wished Id known you 18 years ago - I loved the pics of your uncle (I will ask Mum if she knows them) - big hugs and great to see you xxxx

As for the fudge disaster - after spending a morning with a spoon dipping in and out of it - I felt a bit green :D so thinking that if i left it around DS would be doing the same I decided it went in the bin and the next batch will be made by the end of the week because ......

MY MUM & DAD AND SISTERS AND FAMILIES ARE COMING TO SEE ME YIPPPPEEEEEE - from this is it apparent that i miss them .......:rotfl:
we are having a small party as its DH 40th birthday and DS 9th birthday

ISOM - the quilt colours are lovely I loved the pink flowery one - in fact i liked them all - lets see the finished pic - and you are getting on a storm with the babette xxx

chalky - I hope I have this right but I did read something about the toy filling but it was just on the teddies with the loopy hair (sounds like me:rotfl:) - the list of instructions was quite stringent (which in a way is understandable) - I have not seen anything anywhere else - although by word of mouth through friends etc who know I knit for charity they all have their own comments as a lot of them do various work ie the church and i know they dont like second hand cuddlies and also the cuddlies have to display the british standard mark but thats just one church - I think that all organisations have different rules - oh please dont give up the hedgies etc we love them - you would not be you without your toys xxxx

Just a quickie this months issue of simply knitting has a pattern for chicks with hats on and also said that in next months (due out end of March) they were doing a bit on charity knitting whether that will be pattern etc Im not sure I think it will - also they are starting little footballers to knit - better hide that me thinks - my toys look like they should be in a horror show ....

Better go and get on - although my get on got up and went (somewhere)
Hope kathy is ok in the storms (apparently Saturday my old neighbour in bedfordshire had bad thunder and rain) - hope all are well - big hugs xxxx

    Hi
Lot's of love and prayers for anyone who is going through a rough time at the moment xx
Hope that any of our French and Spanish ladies haven't been affected by the storms that have hit France and Spain.
Isoke looks a 'crafty' cat lol. Glad she is on the mend now. She definitely looks healthy enough with those lovely bright eyes :-) The quilt colours are georgeous. Looking forward to seeing it's progress :-)
I've had a really busy weekend, ended up with a banging headache which came on when I got to church yesterday. Spent the rest of the day on my bed. General fatigue I think. Feel tons better today :-)
I've actually got a couple of premmie things knitted, not much, but I've finally started :-) Did a premie hat. So SMALL, and so SWEET lol. and one little premie bootie.
Now have three squares done for my baby blanket, only another nine to go !!!!
Have a blessed and prosperous day. Hugs to anyone in need. ((((hugs)))) Love you all.

    x
    A work in progress :D

I had to be out all morning, but have been trying to ring Kathy - getting the engaged signal, which could well mean that their phone lines are down, will keep trying during the afternoon and let you all know if I get the hold of her. We had horrendous winds and rain but apart from a couple of slates off the roof not a problem. Chins up...its only weather after all, will be back later

Phoned the operator - lines are down throughout central France, they suggest I leave it till this evening or tomorrow, I have therefore just done the update for Kathy, including yours Shelley, so if you log onto Miolieres blog page you will see them,
alternatively you could use this link to the spreadsheet
    http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AhOgVamMPLdkdEdMMlpDajFHWXJkMnUwc3Mzc3RhM2c&hl=en

Hope that works. Off to do some more cutting out, it's that or be DAVE and help with the plasterboard and that makes my arms ache after about 5 minutes! I will just keep DH supplied with copious amounts of tea and biscuts instead.
